When I was little and my parents took me to my auntie’s house the first thing I used to say was do you have a catalogue 🤣 Took away many boring hours of listening to the grown ups gossiping.

Good morning, oops its afternoon !

Well Im currently totally absorbed in assignment writing... so this is a quick update.

This week despite being in lock down has been a good week, we are happily bowling along, in a routine, that for my OH is mostly the same during the week. He is working 9 - 5, and cooking our meals, and doing other odd jobs. I do the same, most days doing Uni work, and other jobs like the washing, we are getting into domestic routines trying to keep on top of jobs - oh the bliss of a fresh bed, when I ironed the sheets this week ( we loved ironed bedding).

We collapse in front of the TV and night, me crocheting, knitting... will it be patchwork next week.... and currently switching between West Wing and Death in Paradise.

Our going out ritual, will be OH who will take his car for a spin, via the Post Office and Pub to pick up our takeaway tonight. I went to my three weekly session with the Oestopath. I saw his new puppies  :)

I have zoomed with friends and chatted on messenger with others.....

    In spending review:
I have been to the oestopath.....
We have had an Ocado order.
I have bought, deodorant and dry skin moisturiser on line, two products would normally buy from  a shop in London. ( wanted to add that these are not posh, just that i cant buy from Ocado and get them from the health shop next to the clinic)
Yarn to finish a product.... this was within my weekly budget of a treat.
Paid off the first £50.00 of make up.   :#:#
OH discussed with me buying a better router as our internet is dropping out - I have asked him if he is willing to ask whether his work would pay a contribution- as I feel its a legitimate business expenses.
Take away tonight, which includes the raw ingredients for a cooked breakfast tomorrow morning.

I have resisted a pink pair of trainers!!!!!

They are cockapoos, they were going to have just one, they have an elderly labradoodle and this was one going to be a new companion after the sudden and tragic loss of his companion another cockapoo .... Their son fell in love with Clyde but he had been reserved so they decided on Bonnie but then those having a Clyde changed their mind so they couldn’t resist !

    They are joyful.

    Morning all

I have the blues today.... I am hoping its doing with peri menopausal hormones ...  I am listening to The Archers Revisited and crying at the drop of a hat!!! Also had a bed dream about going down under, wheelchairs, firemen and my parents !!!!!!!

I am attached to my laptop at the moment, working on assignment 1/3 - I have finished Part A but it needs a scalpel to get it down to the number of words. Now I'm onto Part B .... deadline is 30th May.  At the end of each day, I sit on the sofa and crochet/knit watching Death in Paradise and West Wing. This has given me a real longing to fo back to both the Caribbean and Washington, pipe dreams at the moment.  The episodes with the lovely Mark Harmen who I fell in love with in the 80's in St Elsewhere. I have never watched NCIS which he is in, found this free on Amazon Prime. So its lined up after DinP and WW.

In other news I am reading the frugal thread and really looking at what I am using, just found a shampoo bought on holiday a make I'm not keen on, as it makes my hair heavy, now is the time to use it - did I mention no 5 on top two weeks ago ——— growing back !

Also feeling guilty bought two things on Amazon yesterday... a book as a treat for OH and a digital album, I loved years ago Cl@n@d
instrumental to listen to to help the flow of writing.... however if we are being frugal and throwing everything on debt  :( ho hum.

So showered, dressed, coffee, OH making me breakfast, now in front of lap top so back to assignment I must go......
