Good morning one and all
Here in the house of the mouse
I am still upright - just - but could honestly say I wish I was in bed, with no commitments - but I need to be thankful that OH and I have been spared much of lockdown misery. However the impact of not seeing those who keep me up and running are taking their toll.
Yesterday I grabbed with both hands the opportunity to see my massage therapist, a three month hiatus, and although he did his normal routine, boy do I now feel it, so too sore to see oestopath today.... have put him off to later in the week... need to take him a good bottle of wine...
My hormones are all over the place ... according to the app D Day is tomorrow... I have been using the "period power" season tracker but didn't do it this month which is annoying, need to restart this, as its remarkably accurate re plotting each day of cycle.
My main activity is my assignment - D Day next tuesday.....
In other news yesterday.... it revolved around assignment, massage, bath and TV, felt bad as i couldn't do really any domestic chores as mobility is poor.
I've now washed the bedding twice and failed two put it on the line... third time lucky today?
Being thankful:
1. The lovely meals that my OH provided for me yesterday
2. My massage therapist
3. Chocolate
4. Sunshine
5. My lovely handyman/decorator who did jobs free of charge for my relative yesterday
So todays tune... that you can all sing a long to is..... Jump Around .... House of Pain

Morning all
Still upright, less sore in places, but have hot spots where i need to be readjusted! Woke up at 6am thought I would get up and water garden and work.... 2.5 hrs later......
So the mouse was safely released to to field
I managed to rewash, hang out and get in the bedding !!
I managed to half clear up the kitchen - I really do need to have a go and the oven tins with Astonish......
Most of the day was spent on guess what - assignment.....
The most cheering news was the Treasurer of the Dementia Charity rung to give me a pay rise! Starting from 1 JuneHis real appreciation of what I have done so far was lovely and really appreciated.
At the end of the day... i sat watched TV and crocheted ... getting to the end of another little project.
Daily Financial Report:
1. Forgot to say I bought a Knitting bag a couple of days ago for "bestie" her birthday, she sent me a cheering up something in the post every week in lockdown.
2. Booked a hotel room, for a fortnight today, to visit our friends at the marina where they keep their motor boat. This means we can see them, get out while our cleaner does a deep clean of our home, and means I can manage my fatigue levels... we will bring food and drink with us and eat and drink on the boat... so the only extra is petrol ( and I need to chant I will not go to Ik£a on the way home)
We were due to be away this week... moved to next year
Being thankful for the pay rise I realised yesterday
Being thankful for the neighbour who helped us catch the mouse !
Being thankful for the sun
Being thankful to lovely OH - yummy food yesterday including favourite thing cheese sandwiches and plaice
PS I forgot the Sing along song..... what shall it be..... "Don't Stop Believing by journey... are you ready here we go.....As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

What a lovely positive post BM 😁 Lots of good news there. Oh how much would I love my house to have my house professionally deep cleaned, she says longingly - they wouldn't know where to start 🤣
Hope your day continues to be a good one.

Morning all
Productive day yesterday mostly in front of a computer and desk fan !
Did manage 2 domestic chores - 1 wash load done, on line, off line!
Tidied the kitchen twice
Collapsed on the sofa with an old Lewis and crochet!
Daily Financial Report - No spending !
Being thankful for the lovely meals OH prepared
Being thankful that I am really interested in my assignment !
Being thankful for a desk fan and a cool bungalow to work in
So..... I need a real singalong tune to get me going today.... so i am thinking abit of Mama Mia..... and I am thinking I could watch this during the day next week when OH is working and I have finished all my assignments .... thinking at home "cinema treat" ( which means a glass of vino and popcorn).....
Have you guessed yet.... can you put it on loud at home..... here we go... Dancing Queen.....
( which will be more appropriate after Ive seen the Oestopath today)
