Morning you lovely people
Been away for a couple of days hence no posts. We have a lovely 48hrs with friends on their boat. Ended up at the rum pub! Plus a very fast trip across the Southampton estuary. So there was two un budgeted spends:
1. Our contribution in the rum pub.....
2. A lipstick mirror in the chemist... I thought I did not have one with me ( honestly could have done without) but there it was really pretty and I was like a magpie wanting something pretty £5.00 and I had the old one with me all along.....
Everything else was budgeted for and we had a discount at the hotel we stayed overnight at.
We have come home to a lovely clean house as our cleaner did a spring clean....
Now though we are back to reality and I am feeling very tired, dodgy neck, unsettled and assignment due in next Tuesday,,,,As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Well.... I think I should have stayed in bed yesterday and written the day off, pain and tiredness is not good for marital relationships.
Doings of yesterday.... Mrs Grumpy! Thanks to OH who retrieved the situation with a take out from our favourite cafe.... we then sofa surfed.... TV & Crochet

Yesterday doings........
1. Reading for assignment
2. Massage
3. Lovely new recipe for tea - Davina - Cod, Cabbage and Canellotti beans ( used up !)
4. Finished my penultimate granny square lap blanket

No Spend Day - we were going to the pub, but were so tired we ducked out so saved pennies
Thankfully
1. The healing hands of massage therapist who unlocked my neck.
2. Passed my last assignment with a good mark...
3. Yummy meal made by OH
