Afternoon my lovely friends
Its hot down south ! So I am having to be careful... but I did manager chair yoga hip hip !
What have I done since I last was here:
Friday - Bookkeeping ! Paid myself and therefore paid off debts - clothes and a study book. Administration, getting on top of things..... I had a sports massage, it was a quiet evening and we had to eat inside - where have the flies come from.
Saturday - run the poetry group on zoom, I found it rather stressful, with one individual being really awkward in response to the subject - I find it so sad. then someone wanting to hold a group in their garden, of more than 6 people ! There is a gene within me that likes to follow rules, plus I feel if we want others ( younger than us to follow social distancing, we need to set the example) rant over .... well sort of. Everyone else enjoyed it. i think I was having one of those days, we had been invited to the in laws and needed some stuff to finish a project in the garden centre so decided to go on the way... well firstly frustrating as what we wanted was not there, very noticeable they are trying to sell old stock and not restocking, had to resort to Amazon. Plus at the check out, the women in the queue behind us, ignored the social distancing lines and had removed her mask, it unnerved me bit. We had been asked to bring puddings, which as we do everything online meant, a trip to the COOP again everything was fine, until check outs and self service where we were crammed together.... will not be returning there!
Lovely evening with in laws, they BBQ they are keeping very much to themselves even the teenagers so we felt safe.
Sunday. well darling fur babies protested we spent several hours out - both poo gate and bird gate !!!We spent it in he garden, despite the heat.... doing projects.
We were going to BBQ but both after a shower had very little spoons, so opted for pizza and a film outside by 8.30 i was shattered and retired to bed, glad that I did as i was awake just after 3 with insomnia again.
The film was Wild Rose with Jessie Buckley and Julie Waters - really would recommend. It was excellent.
Financial
Unplanned - Garden bits for projects, we currently have not got a garden budget.... we need one
Unplanned - a fleece and a top (£24.50) massively reduced, i had an eye out for the fleece, as if I replaced like with like, the tatty one I wore through lockdown - wold be £55.00. Top showed where i put weight on, if i had energy would take back, but at a £10.00 it will be great in doors and will give me focus in reducing my tummy.
unplanned - Dessert/Alcohol Shop - very pleased we were invited to in laws ( first time i had seen them this year, well except the cat, which i had looked after)
Unplanned - pizza - well deserved though we had worked hard,
We need to remember we are doing very little socialising, hobbies etc. ( No Cinema or theatre etc ) We are supporting local businesses
Thankfully
1. The ability to zoom.... Chair yoga !
2. our lovely garden, and the ability to do stuff using my wheels
3. Being with family...
Tune of the day.... Feeling hot hot hot - bad influence

Morning my lovely people,
Where has the time gone... I'm not sure, been struggling rather with fatigue and low mood, been hardly out and thats not good for ones mental health. So many things on a long list to achieve but really not been motivated.
However, as my Mum would say, I need to dust myself down and get on with it...
Doings since i have been away......
*Survived the heat - just - it really is draining
*Oestopath - lots of adjustments - ouch!
*Pilates - definitely out of condition
*College - passed all my assignment and have got confirmation that I am on the MA course in September
* Holiday - count down to our week away - so we are now not going anywhere that is track and tracing just in case
* Dine Out offer - used at local pub, outside in the sun to celebrate end of year.
* Crochet projects - learnt a new skill. and Think I am going to make 100 mug mats for Christmas
* Cervical Smear - completed through gritted teeth but essential!
*Car Service & MOT - passed but air con not fixed and new tyre
Financial
* our debt busting has slowed down as we have spent money, car, garden, pilates resumption. However we are really trying to be very thoughtful about our spending.
* We currently are eating out of the freezer and store cupboards to run them down to empty, only buying staples and bits to complete meals i.e milk, veg and eggs.
Blessings & Thankfully
1. all those professionals who work with my body and keep me upright
2. passing my assignments
3. cooler weather but still sunshine at times to be outsideAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Morning you lovely friends
It appears I took the rest of the summer offBack reading all your lovely diaries ..... catching up slowly.Where am I at this autumn?Part 1. HomeAs much as I long to live by the seaside, this year we have come to appreciate how fortunate we are in the home that we live in, it is a beautiful period property and everyone who crosses the threshold admires it.Having said that up keep is a major task - we have three projects currently on the go:
1. The roof !We have known for a long time that it needs replacing the majority of it being 1930’s. A family member downsizing has released equity and is covering the cost - with great relief as it’s a huge sum. We were planning spring, however a large leak after the very wet weekend a few weeks ago, meant us decamping from our bedroom to the spare room. In the space of 10 days the lost and my cave in the roof space emptied ( in self storage ) and now surrounded by scaffolding with a tin roof going up tomorrow... it’s exciting and daunting as we are not sure what they will find when they take the tiles off !2. Bedroom, Curtains
we have been living without curtains in our dining room and unsuitable curtains in the Another ( living room ) For year since redecoration. We have decided to bite the bullet and have them made as their large windows and we can’t get standard curtains. Supporting a local business fortunately we have chosen one of the cheapest price per metre.
We bought IKEA side cabinets and chest of drawers when we moved in nearly 14 years ago and now they are falling apart. We have also come to the conclusion that we sleep better in a king-size bed rather than the small double we’ve had since we got together. As the bedroom needs redecoration following the leak we have also decided to bite another bullet And replace the bed and furniture. Bed will definitely be new but I am considering secondhand furniture for the side cabinets and chest of drawers if we can find suitable ones we have built in wardrobes. We have done incredibly well with our debt this year, No the credit card has not been fully paid off but it’s on the way to and so project 2 we have decided to get a small loan as of course the interest rates are very good at the moment.3. Garden
on hold because of the weather but we still have a large bag of slate to disperse in some parts of the garden !
I’m really glad I’m back posting again on here as I’ve missed you all and it is real good place to keep me in check. However I have a busy day firstly very sadly I’ve got to run a payroll where there are redundancies and Then it is an M a study day which should’ve been an away weekend at the college but it is now on Zoom three solid days however I will try and get back on here within the brakes to give myself a bit of sanity and update you all on other parts of my lifeAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or
