Nargleblast did not mean I would get better quickly I was speaking of the fact that the longer the letter is delayed the longer I have to wait for the treatment to begin.

If It has not come by tomorrow I cannot even made an appointment until next Tuesday as we have a bank holiday coming up this weekend. That will likely also mean I have to wait 2 or 3 weeks before I can even see a doctor never mind start treatment.

Crazy, isn't it that half the world seems to shut down on a weekend? And a Bank Holiday as well, everything grinds to a halt for three days. Unless of course you work in an industry or line of business that is operating 365 days a year (e.g. hospitals, emergency services etc). Fingers crossed the postman brings good news tomorrow.

nm, isn't it strange that it tales so long for information to get passed down the chain of command in the medical world.. Thanks to the internet and sites like FB, 763 people can learn what you had for lunch before you've finished chewing, but important medical information is attached to a passing tortoise.

Too right monna The other thing they do is lose the letters. I missed 8 appointments about 2 years ago. Not all at the same hospitals or in different departments. I hope this has not happened again.

The irony made laugh. Why on earth would 763 people want to know what I had for lunch? I hope it turns up tomorrow.

Nargle People will blame Christmas for being six weeks late in doing something. Thank God they don't do the same with bank holidays. We would never get anything done.

Mrning all. DH was very grateful for my efforts yesterday and we did get takeaway. To be fair, he is working extremely long hours at the moment so would have been too tired to go out for a meal so we'll put that one on hold. I did however take all expenses out of his 'pocket money'!

Today is mine, and apart from getting a few supplies for lunch for visitors tomorrow, I shall do as I please.

    Have a great day everyone.

I hope the letter turns up today nm.

Well, at last a cool non-humid night! I actually slept! I did get up for the loo once, but then straight back to sleep. Bliss :) I had a few strange dreams though. David Tennant's version of Dr Who was in it at one stage, though unfortunately not for long :D
