I've just had a google around Borders NHS Mar and can now see what you're up against . never good when there are a number of FOI requests .
If you can manage the cost find a decent consultant for a proper assessment . I'm not sure how you'll go from there maybe we should start buying a lottery ticket . There isn't a level playing field at all Ed seems mostly good and Borders not so . Makes you wonder about all the NI and Tax you both paid over the years .

Maybe I better not tell you how much my problems with Virgin media have escalated. I should have ceased being their customer on Friday. I have been with Plusnet for 18 days.

Yesterday I got another bill and I have just spent the last hour and a half explaining all the mistakes they have made which put the errors of The White Star Company in relation to the Titanic pale into insignificance. On top of all they have done wrong they are charging me premium rates to call them. They had the cheek to sent me a questionnaire asking me to tell them how GOOD they they are.

Monna You said you were back a few days ago. I am worried about you. I hope you don't get your broadband from Virgin media, but would be happy to know if that is all the problem you have. Don't you go getting this PA it's a bu88er.

Nursemaggie - good luck with sorting the pernicious anaemia, no wonder people resort to the internet! It is good your DS still comes to see his mum, you are so fortunate.

Any more luck in house hunting?

As for the divorce stuff - at least that is one way to get rid of at least 12 stone of ugly fat......

I've been wondering about Monna too . I know she spent time with her DB but did see she was back . Hope all is well with her .

Nargle Hoping all is going well with your dhs treatment .

Pollyanna he has had chemo number two so one third of the way
there. He has had to go in hospital today for a couple of days because his calcium levels are really low, but hey ho, it is a process we have to go through. His hair started coming out in clumps so he got someone to take the clippers to it and now he looks like a taller version of Uncle Fester from the Addams Family. It's only hair, though, it will grow back.

Polly tell me how you ferretted around the Borders NHS? In a PM if you like? I'm all ears now. Good to know I'm not the only one who finds them useless. I'm going to see a private endo who has an NHS list in Livingston, West Lothian, but unsure what would happen next. I'll see her and find out. But very interested in the state of NHS Borders...

Hi all. Sorry that you were worried Polly and nursemaggie. It takes me so long to tap out a post one letter at a time that I am restricting my involvement with MSE.

Other than that all is fine here. I had a great time with DB and SIL and he is doing well operating on 3 stents and half a heart. He had an MRI yesterday to see what is to happen next.

Still no news on the house front and I guess that it is the same for you NM. Patience is a virtue, so we must be the most virtuous people around .

I'm out to lunch with a friend today so I'd better have some breakfast now or I won't be hungry for lunch.

  • I changed to plusnet for internet 4 years ago after horrendous problems with Virgin they cost me £250 because I had to cancel a contract, they did not supply a service to the address we were moving too. Some of you will remember us moving to a flat in an old hunting lodge, and 10 weeks after we moved we were told the landlord had applied to the council to demolish the building is sell the land as a building plot for 10 houses I hate sky anyway, think a lot of their service is over rated rubbish, especially the TV.

We have a humax box for the TV programmes and plus net for telephone and internet. I upped the internet to a faster speed last year which put my bill up slightly. Their service is very good and the internet easy to set up.

Deleted_User I don't have TV. Sorry to tell you this, Virgin had no right to charge you all that money they should have paid you. They broke the contract by not supplying you at your new address.

We were with BT before we moved to Bolton. BT agreed with me that they broke the contract because they could only give us 3 meg when we had, had 150 fibre with them in Sussex. I got another email from Virgin late last night with another rise in price. They are just not giving up are they.

monna so glad you are OK. We will miss you terribly. Don't cut down too much.
