  • What we've experienced in life so far is what makes us US! without the experiences we've had good or bad we wouldn't be the person we are today so it's really a good thing we've got through what we had to deal with and can all understand how the troubled times feel, makes you a better listener I think!

For the last three years they have been building us a new bus station next to the train Station. It is called Bolton Interchange.

We expect Google to know everything. Last night just before he went to bed DS asked Google "When will the Bolton Interchange open"

Google Replied "1855" I know it is behind schedule but that is some delay! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We presume it meant the Railway Station.

NM When checking google bolton station engineering works . A quick check shows things are behind schedule and no firm information
on completion . More work than anticipated is needed .
Wishing you a not too difficult journey for your forthcoming hospital appointments and also for your son as he's affected too . x
Who ever thought that lovely 1st husband and now my son being mainline drivers would come in useful . It has many times over the years .

Good on you burtha, making things 'yours' will help you to move on.

A quick question for you lovely ladies - How do you make plum jam? I have got a large bag full of plums, far too many for myself and my neighbours to eat so I have decided to make jam. My main query is when weighing the plums should the stones be in or out? Also, when the jam has cooked, should I try and remove all the skins? I know you lovely lot will keep me right!

    Back to de-stoning!

camelot1001 I use this recipe and it always turns out well, covers blackberries, plums, strawberries and raspberries, I don't remove the skins, I adjust the amounts if I haven't got the full weight.

    Just calling in briefly.
burtha, baby steps sweetie, baby steps.

Viewer been and gone. Loved the house but decided that she would have to make too many changes to it to make it financially viable. Watched estate agents jaw drop!

Walked back from the shop at 8.30 this morning. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, the sea gently rippled its way up the beach and I suddenly realised that I felt happy. When I think of the last 2 years when I've walked that exact same route, turning my face away from anyone I met so that they couldn't see that I was crying, I felt that I had really turned a corner. I never thought it would happen that I would feel happy again so take heart all those who are suffering now. It could happen to you one day, however impossible it seems.

Still a long way to go but today was good.
