I'm 5'2 if I stand on tiptoe, does that count?
LW, nearly but I settled for scrambled egg when I eventually got home.
Islandmaid I don't have energy, I just keep putting one foot in front of the other, I cannot understand why I don't have a sylph like figure.

Next time round I'm going to have nice white, even teeth. One of my unrealised ambitions, along with being 5ft 8 and drop dead gorgeous. Oh, and playing Rachmaninov's 2nd piano concerto to an appreciative audience in the Festival Hall.

Dentures, a rack and a player piano and you'll be all set Monna :D

Fuddle, the perfect solution for your lonely muscle is a second watering can ;)

LW and Mrs LW, I have a narwhal on my new bedroom wall! Hubby had to tell me what it was.

Hester, that's intermittent fasting without even trying! You should be thin as a rake with all that exercise too.

It appears I also tower over many of you, at 5ft 9. The funny part about my height is I'm all leg with a short body, so we'll be the same height if I sit down.

My working day started with cleaning all windows in a large bungalow. I managed to leave them sparkly and streak-free thankfully.

This evening a neighbour called in to say farewell cos he's moving away at the end of the week. We sat chatting and the men drank beer while I had a strong coffee. Neighbour left at 9.30pm and I got on and cleaned our downstairs windows, in the dusk! I am trying to make the house presentable for my mum's arrival tomorrow but I shall be working until the minute I go and collect her from the airport tomorrow. Ah well, she won't judge me!

Another 5' 2" person here! I am sure i once reached the dizzy heights of 5' 3"!!

Monna, on the musical theme, let me tell you about my 7 y.o. violin-playing niece. She achieved grade 1 recently and enjoys playing but she is no child prodigy. She gave a recital to the family last week and enthusiastically explained one piece of music (unfortunately i cannot recall which), by telling us that when she first played it she decided that it NEEDED another note at the end! So she was going to play 'an open A' to make it right :rotfl::rotfl::T It is quite possible that Mozart is turning in his grave.
I have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.

I once reached the dizzy heights of 4ft 11 1/2inches. I am 4ft 9in now. Ir's a pity you are all in the south. If we all met up I would make you all feel tall.

I could do with the rack because I am not over weight, I'm under tall!

Well I did feel a bit left out with all you 'lefties'. Now I realise I have found my niche. I have recently gone from five four to five one and a half, obviously it was so I would be the right size for this bit of the fence. :rotfl:

Horrible night with wind and rain and lots of mollucated plants in the garden. Wind to carry on most of today and I hate the noise.

Been windy here overnight...had to chuckle on my way to work as council workmen are fighting a losing battle evicting sand from the tram tracks - as fast as they moved it the sand blew back in further along :) Will need to check the lottie after work to ensure everything is ok there.

Morning All - grey and blustery here. Glad I got all the washing finished yesterday ;) Hester - do hope you're going to get an easier day today - yesterday was a marathon. Woken up this morning with a sore throat - probably picked up on the plane home :( but I do have some lovely Greek honey to help soothe.
Looks like I'm going to be the odd one out with you lot - right handed and 5'10'' - but I'm the lady who helps all you vertically challenged souls get things from the top shelf of the SM ;)
As the weather isn't up to much I'll just do some pottering indoors and try to clear the bits and pieces that take more time niggling than actually doing!
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Silva Every shorty needs a tall best friend for such tasks :rotfl:

DS2 tells me he will never be able to leave home as I always ask him to get things from the top kitchen cupboards - he is worried DH will starve without him :D
