And my friend and I spent a week in a scout camp with 30 odd scouts and some rather toothsome Scouters or whatever the grown up scouts are called. Tablet wants me to have gone with some "toothless" young gentlemen. Believe me, they were nothing of the sort.
That's quite enough of my misspent youth.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Misspent youth?

Nursemaggie, your mention of Auntie Rene reminded me of mum. She always gets throws for the three piece suite. You never see the three piece suite until it's going out the door for a new one to come in :rotfl: Smoking is ridiculously bad on furnishings. My hubbys nan had a stern talking to from my MIL once, she'd kept the plastic wrap on the dining chairs "to keep them clean". The problem over here is the mould gets beneath the plastic anyway, so you end up sitting on a petrie dish.
MMF007, I can't wait to see someI think always the most important thing is effort and enjoyment, but also that many folk devalue their own work.
Silvasava, we have magpies and butcher birds here, some of which are almost tame for me, they follow me around like dogs. Unfortunately they are not toilet trained and that's why I have plastic outdoor furniture.
I'm not competing over numbers of men. I've never had many at once, just quite a few consecutively :rotfl:Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -

They're wonderful! You've really got a talent there for showing the life inside the painting. Although I love the puddy tat, my favourite is the view through the trees, so peaceful I could take a nap in it.
Well done you :TSoftstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
MMF - just taken a look at your link WOW!! Your bluebells are stunning - reminded me of a Corot painting and the bluebell woods not far from me. You definitely have talent.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0
