Lyn Sadly it is important I retain a few shreds of sanity away from here due to needing to appear functional , informed and not to be messed with in some challenging real life situations .

Meanwhile having absorbed rolled up trouser legs , shiny colanders ( one actually adorned with blingy things ! I have to ask whatever happened to OPSEC? which appears to be forgotten along the way .
Maybe Her Maj GQ needs to pop over here with her Ted type talk on the subject .

All I can say in the hopefully never will happen situation of thread war occurring I will be able to spot all the Froggies a mile off as will the rest of the world .
Me I'll be wearing my discreet nappy pin brooch and will have my trusty rolling pin in my oilcloth bag and you'll all surge past me , if you haven't already been arrested :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

?....You should also store them away from onions, the gases from the onions make them go off faster.

Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs! I have always kept potatoes and onions in the same cupboard - no wonder the spuds keep sprouting!

    Hello all
To stop my potatoes sprouting too quickly, I always take them out of the plastic bag and dry them on newspaper before putting in a cloth bag. I think my bag came from one of them cheap shops in the high street, its beige on the outside and black inside and just to make it clear it also has the word POTATOES written on it. As if one would use it for just any old vegetable :rotfl:.
To whoever mentioned the crocodile, please could I put my order in for two steaks please :D.

ETA: I've no idea how Mar found freezer bags big enough for a whole heffalump though  :p

    She knitted them, obviously :rotfl:

Nargle, I didn't know for years. Someone told me and sure enough, it does help if I keep them either in separate cupboards or put one in a canister.

Crocodiles? A friend's hubby has fairly advanced dementia but if I say 'See you later' he always says 'In a while crocodile' and chuckles before doing a snaping motion with his hands. Sure it's not an alligator you have there??

Work this week has involved cleaning, shopping, planting another plant and becoming a minor hero (apparently) because I found a lost cardi! Oh, and I spotted client's favourite biscuits were on offer so she gleefully stocked up *Several* packets :)

DH and I may be nearer to deciding which hol we want to save for in 2018. Let's put it this way, I have made my mind up, have placed the relevant notes uppermost on his reading pile and have binned the details of the alternative one :D Am confident he will make the right choice eventually:rotfl:

I don't want to come across as Hiacynth Bucket but I have a cloth bag for potatoes AND one for onions, both labelled accordingly.
