    Hi all
Just popped in to send my love and hugs to, in no particular order............
Karcher, NurseMaggie, Polly and Burtha and anyone else who is in need.
Monna love your "thought for today".
HH people say count to 10 but I have to count to at least 110 when necessary :rotfl:. (Which seems quite often these days !)

Burtha first ((Hugs)) - Been there A.H ex left me and 3 very young kids in a Money pit house 15 years ago x

Second - there is next to nothing you can do tonight, so improvise - warm bath if poss, best socks and PJ’s - comfort film (1st Harry Potter for us) and an early night

Get house on market ASAP, warts and all better to lose a few grand than your sanity.

PS 15 years on ex is still an a*se but I no longer care as I have my life back x

Third - you are perfectly entitled to a ‘Wobble’ it is a PITA when you take on a life as a couple and end up flying solo - but you are flying straight and well

    Fourth xx

    PS - £50 or less will get u a chimney sweep x
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

    £300/£130

Call 3mw. He still has responsibilities for his kids. You should not have to do everything. Get something legal about him supporting his kids.

You cannot do everything you are ill as well as trying to mange a house and three kids on your own. No matter what he says the younger two are still his and always will be.

A great big hug from me and you know everyone else is on your side. I wish I could come up and help but I know I could not get to you tonight. The best train to Newcastle left about 2 hours ago, I presume it stops at Durham. I would not know where to go from there.

Burtha can you not organise a chimney sweep and get him to bill 3mw ? But for now please follow Islandmaids advice just to get through to tomorrow.
Sending you a bucket full of hugs.

  • Hugs Burtha. What Islandmaid and Nursemaggie both say, is spot on. And one day you will appreciate Monna's thought for today.

That thought for today is particularly relevant for me right now. I've just walked away from a business partnership that wasn't worth my health. It's probably going to cost me and I have little idea what I'm going to do next, but deep down I know it's best for me.

It'll be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end. Dunno who said that but it rings true for me.

Burtha, have you got the house on the market yet?

You are doing your best and you shouldn't be in this predicament. 2mw needs a rocket up his b***s***.

It makes me so angry/sad that people are capable of hurting those they professed to love!

Burtha...be kind to yourself..take a hot bath, drink tea/wine whatever, but tomorrow get the house on the market at a saleable price and find you and your family a new home.

    ((hugs)) xx

Hugs to Burthaand anyone else who needs it.
I can relate to the cold house as I have no central heating and use a portable gas heater which takes the chill off. If you light a couple of tea lights that makes a bit of difference and I use those wheat bags that u heat in the micro, or get the same in slippers it makes the world of difference if your feet are warm believe me.
Pollyhope you and hubby get well soon
Nursemaggiehope the pain subsides quickly and that you and your doc can find a suitable painkiller for you
Karchercan sympathise with the work situation I feel like that just now and am looking for something else in case it all gets too much. I hope things improve for you soon xx
