I make my low carb lasagne like this - a layer of thinly sliced (i use the vegetable peeler) of sweet potato, one of courgette and one of carrot.

So not as low carb as just courgette, but rather lush..
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Oh, very nice! I'll try that once the stone has gone :)

VJsMum That sounds very nice :)

Thanks for the good wishes about OH's eye. Thankfully it only looks bruised right at the outer edge of the socket, and he says it isn't painful. I suggested he put some more arnica cream on it at bedtime, then it might be fine by the morning.

monnagran Perhaps you've been doing too much lately, what with getting ready for viewings and trying to keep up with the garden? Listen to your body and have a rest when it tells you to, if at all possible. (Please!)

Wasted days? There's no such thing as a wasted day. There's full on days and there's slower days. Nothing to do with old age. It would take me a fortnight to recover from making sticky toffee pudding for 60!

Ah, Ivyleaf. Unfortunately my body is very indulgent and keeps telling me that I must put my feet up and read a good book. All very well, but my mind keeps reminding me that THINGS have to be DONE, and no-one is going to do them for me.

Fuddle, I don't call baking work. Sticky toffee pudding for 60 just takes a bit longer than sticky toffee pudding for 4. No sweat. You look after yourself young lady. We don't want any more lightning dashes to hospital.

Ivyleaf hope your DH does not have too much bruising tomorrow.
Ouch!! I would move the bedside table in case he does it again.

I posted yesterday and it seems to have got lost. That is twice in the last week it has told me it is posted and it disappeared.
  • I once broke my right elbow falling out of bed, I was about 11 or 12 years old.
I didn't write anything at school for weeks because no one realised I was left handed!!
