Mind you I shall be wide awake most of the night and probably bouncing off the walls, I wish I knew what ingredient it is that affects me this way, I would bottle it as an alternative to cba juice :rotfl:. I'd make a fortune !

MSG (monosodium glutamate). Quite a few people (myself included) have a sensitivity to it. You can buy it in Chinese supermarkets or from online sites like Amazon.

Ah, that's obviously what's been missing in my diet all my life. A good dose of MSG. Perhaps it would get me going.
Does anyone else have to make a gritted-teeth, determined effort to actually get moving? I've been like it all my life and goodness knows how I have ever accomplished anything. Left to my own inclination I would conduct my whole life from my bed.

It's a gorgeous day here but definitely chillier.

I used to be the complete opposite monna - I hardly ever sat down! But even now that I'm pretty well knackered, I feel guilty if I sit for too long. I have to get up and do wee things around the house every so often then sit again. I would so love to get up, start knitting and stay knitting - but I can't. I always feel guilty that things are needing done (even when they aren't). GUILTY CONSCIENCE lol
  • I can't sit in front of the tv unless I have my crochet, otherwise I just keep getting up and doing things.

    What a lovely day here.

Despite waking up just after 5 I've got 2 loads of washing dried outside (well, just airing off in the TD) and been for a long walk.

The clear blue skies and sunshine have shown off the beautiful countryside here. I've had a good day! Hope you have too.

    Hi everyone
Had a busy day, mostly cleaning and a general tidy up. I have tried to keep things under hand but thought I'd better have a blitz today. We were invited to DD's this afternoon for a chinese takeaway, it was a thank you for looking after the DGC and was lovely and much appreciated. Mind you I shall be wide awake most of the night and probably bouncing off the walls, I wish I knew what ingredient it is that affects me this way, I would bottle it as an alternative to cba juice :rotfl:. Karcher I hope your toothache has subsided
Ivyleaf thanks for the welcome back.
I would like to say that normal service will be resumed but that's taking it too far :D.
    Sleep well all.

Yeah, it is monosodium glutamate - I can't have it at all. It gives me a feeling of impending doom, I can't sleep and when I do I wake up hungover - even if I've had no alcohol..
I wanna be in the room where it happens

    Cranky and VJsmum.
Thanks for that, it just makes me hyper and unable to sleep. Won't make me a fortune either then, as it's already been invented :(. Oh well, perhaps I'll win the lottery - if I did it that is :rotfl:.

I'm exactly the same now but I didn't have that problem many years ago.

I think it is the food that has changed rather than my tolerances?

Monna, it's not got worse but it is still hurting.

I know I don't care for my teeth as much as I should but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't seem that important.
