Ooh Mardatha thanks for that! Am having a look! I found some from ‘the herdy place’ but not sure!

So can you not even get Royal Mail deliveries Hester?
Had a lazy morning. Went to the local "hip" town. My sister works in one of the shops. The town is full of people moving out from London. And is full of hip coffee bars and those expensive gift type shops. It is a nice place mind. Just not when you're broke!
Did a menu plan and the shopping today. Also will be eating the food stores down.
This evening is strictly. Didn't used to watch it, but Small likes it & it's harmless fun.
Have a good evening all

I had to get a wool or cotton one because I spend 90% of my life burning up, and foam would have driven me insane. Well ok, worse than I am already.0

Sorry I've not been around to chat today. I was here early this morning, wrote my post and lost it. I was so cross that I slammed the tablet in a drawer and left it there.
Will just give you a thought to be going on with and try again tomorrow.
Hope the toothache has eased Karcher.

Definitely no royal mail deliveries all our stuff goes to DD's address.
We were intending to take the boat out on Friday, only to the local pub but, it's a nice trip out and it means I can have a drink too. We would have moored up Friday and Saturday night and trundled back on Sunday.
CHS got a phone call from his brother arranging a night out tonight so we changed our plans so they could all meet up, only for BIL to forget all about it, CHS is not a happy bunny!!Chin up, Titus out.0 -

Thank you for the lovely welcome everyone albeit a few pages back now
.
I've always fancied living on a narrow boat but I'm not sure the cat would appreciate it.
I've heard it mentioned that a lot of people live on narrow boats but have a "cruising license" or something and have to keep taking a little trip along the river.
The highlight of my day today was dressing my 20 year old lad up as a light up stick man for a Halloween party. I thought he might have grown out of dressing up by now.

Hi everyone
Had a busy day, mostly cleaning and a general tidy up. I have tried to keep things under hand but thought I'd better have a blitz today. We were invited to DD's this afternoon for a chinese takeaway, it was a thank you for looking after the DGC and was lovely and much appreciated. Mind you I shall be wide awake most of the night and probably bouncing off the walls, I wish I knew what ingredient it is that affects me this way, I would bottle it as an alternative to cba juice :rotfl:. I'd make a fortune !
Karcher I hope your toothache has subsided
Ivyleaf thanks for the welcome back.
I would like to say that normal service will be resumed but that's taking it too far.
Sleep well all.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
Continuous cruisers. That means they have no home mooring so move from one place to another in a continuous manner, this means they cannot go from A to B and then back to A again. Mooring sites have time limits on them maximum 14 days, some only 24 hours. We have a home mooring so we can go to and fro as much as we want.Chin up, Titus out.0

That sounds lovely Hester. You could develop a wee routine, and that way never get bored.0
