You were of course talking about chairs - snicker. Sorry to lower the tone but the new forum confused me which is easier to do and some of the nastier trolls used to hang round this thread ages ago.
I now have a nearly three year old grand daughter, her nearly six month old sister and middle dd had a baby girl about nine days ago so it is all go as Thunderbirds used to put it.

This may be a daft idea but if "darling" had lots of pretty clothes and bags etc and kept them all might a vintage boutique or online seller be interested. That way clothes could go to people who love them and maybe raise a bit for charity???
Cleaner has just left so house is looking much better, two loads have been in the dish washer, a load of cardboard boxes are in recycling. have put some stuff in black storage bins for internal garage shelves as by the end of July I want the garage to be usable as an extra room opening into the garden in case we are all to get together as a family and have shelter if weather is bad.
I said the same last year (blush) but this time I am determined.
Have some frozen lamb chops and veg with stock in the pressure king pro hoping it will work for a very late lunch and a main meal tomorrow without having to hover over the pot.

It's funny how threads go quiet or change character but this one roars back into life every now and then - usually with a wild partyIf you want a wild party we need to give burtha a shout. She's been the party person recently.mothernerd I'm trying to figure out the connection between Hester and raised beds. Mind you we never did find out if she ever got her longed for Pink suede corset. Can't you try and take it easy for a day or two? You are pushing yourself too hard. Sometimes you need to take a break and do the pacing thing, we're all guilty of pushing on regardless but boy do we pay for it later.pollyxMy mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6

You cheeky wotsits! We had raised beds in our garden when we lived on dry land. At least I hope that's what you mean.
I never did get a suede corset, living on a boat the only kinky rubber stuff I own is welly boots!
Beano and I walked 3 miles this morning to collect Steve's prescription, we stopped off at a coffee shop for coffee and cake, well I wanted cake but I was out voted. Beano prefers a bacon bap, so that's what we shared.
Beano is now asleep, Mr Grumpy is sat on the back deck and I'm knitting.

Tell me, Fencelings All, has the Garden Fence been sanded down since my last visit? Only last time I sat on the Fence, I got splinters in me bum.

Much appreciated, Hester. My towel is soaking wet and muddy, having been used to dry off a Springer Spaniel, so I can't use it as padding for fence-sitting, not unless I want a soggy, muddy bum, which is nearly as bad as splinters. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)7
