Lovely to see you Ginnyknit.I have just got back from Salford Royal. The surgeon was lovely. He asked who I was seeing on Thursday, he will arrange a conference with the team on Friday and they will phone me with advice.Sounds like it will be best for the radiation and hopefully it will be done soon. They seem like they will be efficient.I can't say the same for who ever organised my taxi home. I was directed to one area and the taxi to another. The taxi driver did not know my name. I was taken and sat outside in a very chilly wind and not to the place the taxi was waiting for.I went back into the hospital and no one knew what was happening. Took another 3/4 of an hour to sort it and then I had to run half a mile. Not done that for a long time. This diet just gives and gives. I'm virtually pain free, have almost got a flat stomach and weight still coming off at 1 kg a week. I'm not hungry and I have more energy than I have had for over 20 years. Surgeon could not find any lumps.9

Ginnyknit, lovely to see you. My blood ran cold at the mention of frozen shoulders. I've had 3 in my lifetime and the pain when you make an unwary movement brings me out in a cold sweat at the mere memory of it.
Good luck with the premium bonds and just remember who your friends are!
NM, glad that the surgeon seems to be on the ball. You have been messed about far too long so let's hope that someone has at last got a grip on the situation.
You have had enough epic journeys too. Why is it assumed that everyone has a car?I believe that friends are quiet angels

Just lost a post and am off to Ali's market soon, so it will be Hello and Goodbye.
Hope the sun shines on you today. I'll get back sometime this evening.

monnagran - great TFT
.I too have suffered with a frozen shoulder - so painful. I read that it can last for 18 months - felt blessed that I was better after 5 months.
Bit the bullet yesterday and phoned pest control - 3 traps now in place in my loft. Men told me where they are getting in - seems I am right to replace fascia - hole there. Cheeky animal peeked out of the hole and looked at me when I was standing in the garden viewing their entrance. Been warned that squirrels are not easy to catch. We are charged per visit - by the men - not the pesky grey creatures. I like squirrels but they have to leave my house.
My eldest DGS is 24 today - where did the time go.
Collected my beautiful hand turned yarn bowl today - just gorgeous. Love it and Mr F bought it for me too.
