Morning.
Waves to ivyleaf xx
The calendar says May, but I'm not convinced! It looks, and feels, more Novemberish to me.
Four days at the paid stuff completed. Now three days off. I don't work on Mondays apart from an occasional swap. Plans for the weekend include: housework, decluttering, reading, telly viewing, listening to music, eating and sleeping. Not necessarily in that order 😊. What's everyone else up to?

MrsCD - my Son paid for the contents so only cost to me was small amount of fabric - cords were in my stash.
pollyanna_26 - agree about being glad the football season is early over. Nerves have been on edge - Mr F - not a football fan - just doesn't get it.
Yesterday I made lavender bags for the fund raising fair - the house pongs!
Was going to shop today but trying to eke out food supplies until Monday.

Florence, those lavender bags are gorgeous. I don't know how you get them to look as though human hand has never touched them. My homemade things look just that...homemade.
Polly, you will have noticed that as soon as your name appears there is an instant reformation of morals on this thread.
We all know what a stickler you are for a high moral tone and strict standards of behaviour. Which may account for the shorter posts and ........er......um......duller content.
Not to mention Mings sudden disappearing act.

Thanks for the likes of the makes. They are bagged up now - ready for July.
I was in a charity shop and saw the duvet cover that I used for the lavender bags - I thought it was so pretty and loads of fabric in it for a low price. Still have lots of fabric left.
I love looking in charity shops - I was in one in Cumbria some years ago and saw a huge piece of red fabric for 99p. I have made 2 red riding hood outfits out of it and still some left over.
I was taught by a lovely lady to look at something and imagine what could be made with it.8 -
Florenceem, your lavender bags just reminded me that my grandma used to have them in her drawers 'to help keep the moths away'! They are gorgeous and I can 'smell them' in my mind iyswim.
