I was thinking of you yesterday Sheila when the kelp discussion was going on . You posted not long ago when we were going to give the kelp another go and said it was still working for you . I suppose it's one of those things that works long term for some but not others . The first time it gave me such a lift it was my new best friend so I'm quite miffed it didn't last . As you say I noticed other benefits apart from the energy levels especially skin and hair .

I'm glad it's still helping you After a busy day everyone has earned a rest or a nap .
    Take care

We're not too bad thanks Polly. i'm having trouble with sciatica and a painful shoulder, but the GP says the key is "Exercise, exercise, exercise!" so I'm doing my best. She's referred me for physio but I expect there'll be quite a wait for that.
OH is in Birmingham, he went up to see the Photography show at the NEC but is coming home today. The children are ok, and DGD is very happy because she has got her first choice of secondary school :) I think I might be helping them out a bit with the cost of the uniform.
V proud of DD1 as she went all the way to Buckingham yesterday to be with an autistic friend at an ESA assessment.

Thanks SO. We're sort of coping. Mr Wolf is on a good regime of meds to keep his Parkinson's under control for now, but unfortunately he's now got another health scare to deal with; he's got an appointment with someone called a "screening practitioner" next Wednesday, and will then be scheduled for a colonoscopy. I'm trying hard not to assume the worst, but that's precisely what it is my nature to do, so it's a bit of a tough time at present.:(

As for me.... I hurt my back a week and a half ago, stupid really, all I did was reach up to put a towel away on the top shelf of the airing cupboard and something went "ping", and that was me in agony.
It was getting better, then I lifted the recycling to put it outside on Monday evening (bin day on Tuesdays here) and hurt it all over again.

Love playing catch up on here , "real" friends catching up .. brilliant,
now I've moved away from the village I lived in all my life I really miss the daft conversation and even the village gossip .
So quick update .. Monday 3mw was trying to push divorce through the court for the absolute ... with out doing anything for the financial bit ... so lots of calls and emails from my solicitor and between solicitors.. and provisionly we have a deal , And a court order on him to get his act together in so many days before we are back in court ... because he's hiding financial amount .... fun
But it's looking like 50 / 50 on the pension ... and 75 percent on the house although nothing in the house now money wise , and we had a repossession letter at the weekend ,but hopefully we now have a sale agreed so that will go through ....
    And breath

burtha, it is really, really hard to move away from all that is loved and familiar. I bet you feel like a non-person and more than a bit lost.
Unfortunately, time is all that will cure that, but you don't know that until you are past it and looking back. Do I take it that 3mw is still living around there? Perhaps he will move away soon and you can go back. Or maybe you will put down roots somewhere else. Anything is possible for you.

Of course he is hiding his financial assets. It's what they all do. If they were honest, honourable people they wouldn't be in the divorce court.

I am filling in time this morning before a fasting blood test at 11.10. Can you believe it? What sadist thought that would be a good time for such a thing?

Burtha - good to read your post and very pleased to see you posting more often. You wouldn't believe how much we missed and worried about you. It does seem there is a glimmer of light at the end of your tunnel at last. Fingers crossed for you on the house sale. I do wonder if when the financial arrangements and your divorce is finalized 3mw may disappear completely from your lives given he struggles to keep contact with his children. Maybe a mixed blessing.
Went to see Fisherman's Friends yesterday - lovely feel good film, really enjoyed it.
Monna - I have to have a fasting blood test every year but I try to make them as early as possible in the morning. When I was working I used to take my breakfast to have at my desk!
