I ordered a fleece lined duvet set and fitted sheet a couple of weeks ago and thought I was being silly as the weather has suddenly turned a bit warmer. I put it on the bed a few days ago and it is so cosy and comforting it feels as if the bed is giving you a hug! We seem to be in the path of storm Gareth too so trying to make sure I have things in so I don't have to go out unless I want to."This site is addictive!"

Hi all,
Playing catch up again the last 4 weeks have been :D:o:mad: and hopefully:j
Still doing lots of running around , ds exam year and I'll be glad when July is here and everything is done.
3mw is exceeded his normal level off idiocy ... I don't think he was impressed when the youngest dd ( soon to be 17 ) told him he was a waste of space ... His reply was its all my fault ,how he should of left me years ago , I do nothing , .... he was so upset he didn't know that we had moved house ( he found out 2 weeks later ) and if she wanted to see him all she had to do was get on a bus ( 2 buses that would take about 1hr 20 mins ) 15 mins in a car !!!
And that the only reason the old house was cold was mum didn't have the fire on ....
So ...
I didn't respond , just worked through stuff with the kids , he has been so helpful in all of this :rotfl: to top things off he cleared out all the stuff from the old house , stuff I had in neat piles or boxes to take to the tip .. or were to big for me to move myself .... now where did he put them , I hear you ask ????
In a big pile on the drive , so everyone gets a wonderful first impression of the house  .... now its worse as people have raked through stuff too , and he's expecting me to take it all to the tip .....
I'm counting to 10 quite a lot ....
But on the positive side we may have a offer on the house , about 35k short of what I would have liked , but it 145k short of what 3mw wanted ....
At this point I need to walk away ..
Stuff still not sorted with divorce as he's not putting paperwork in for his pension , but wants the absolute through now and has even gone against his own solicitor and put in for it ... obviously he knows best ,so he has until next week to agree to what I want or cancel the court date .... or he will be paying my solicitors fees for the day , as it's a ongoing case .....
otherwise I've been ill with a head cold that's left me with a hacking cough... fun....
no bird in the garden , I have a good mix of stuff still only seen 1 bird since I moved in ...
have been looking at tubs and what to put in them ,as not worth putting anything in the ground as probably won't be here long enough .. but wait and see .... feels a bit like I'm living in lego land ....

Keep going Burtha. My daughter, in very similar circumstances, has now found the light at the end of the tunnel. House sale complete after over two years, she is in a council house that she loves (extremely lucky) and she has yesterday had her share of house sale put in her bank.
Kids aren't tiptoeing around in case he gets "upset" and daughter looks 10 years younger.
They aren't giving their new address out, everything will come "care of" me at my address. That will sort him out.
He will also be livid because she got the greater share of the money, and he still firmly believes it should all be his.
Happy days, and they will come to you.0 -
Ah, Burtha, the 3mw - the gift that keeps on giving! Every day you must count your blessings that you are getting shot of this idiot, even if it is at times like wading through treacle. Fingers crossed the house sale goes through. If he really wants the decree absolu yesterday he will agree to the sale and the conditions of the divorce. You hold the winning cards in your hand, he's getting desperate. One life - your life - live it!0
