Csarina, would it therefore be possible to get an `assessed charge` if unable to get a meter fitted? I have no idea how that works where you are living, how do you know what you have used and what your neighbour uses? Anyway, where I lived a couple of years ago I found out about this, contacted my then water company and my bill went down to around £22.00 per month. I had been spending approx £54 per month for each of 8 months. A lot of difference, was living in a flat that couldn`t have a meter fitted.

Lay on the sofa coughing and reading books.

Emptied bins of tissues, water bottles and blister packs from pills.

    Had a shower.

I've had flu. I think it's getting better. Next year I'm having a flu jab.

Nearly cried when I got caught in a sudden hail storm while driving at 60 on an A road. Total white out with no warning. One second clear and dry, the next, couldn't see in front of me.

  • Same thing happened here late yesterday afternoon and we went in seconds from a benign sunny afternoon to a massive hail storm, followed by snow nd sleet and then more hail which put down an inch thick covering everywhere and was still frozen on the lawns and the car this morning, thankfully I'd just got back indoors from an afternoon walk or I'd have been caught in it, not a nice prospect.

Another one here with the excitement of housework, two loads of washing and the beds to change and remake this afternoon.....we know how to live don't we?
