Thanks hun.
I did it, I paid the £5.05 off the Cap One card so it's a nice round figure0 -
Ooh fab news that there's been a response to the job, here's to signing that contract!
Well done on your progress to Cap 1 card and target for the year.

Roll on contract. All sounding positive

Hi PMO2, I've just read through your diary and subscribed. I speed-read to the end to find out what happened with the permanent contract and think I'm more disappointed than you that you've not had your offer yet! Sounds like you won't have to wait too much longer though.
Well done with your progress on the cap one card, you're doing so well :T0 -
Hope you get the answers soon x"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0

Morning,
Thanks everyone, I'm really hoping that the contract comes through sooner rather than later, but based on recent events I'm not holding my breath.
Food shop done at the weekend, freezer is fully stocked up now, we shouldn't need very much now until pay day.
Work is going to be busy this week as we hand over to the client on Friday, cue usual panic, arguments and subbies running around like headless chickens to push the job through before Friday.
I've brought my lunch with me today, aiming to be on track this month
I didn't do a run this week/weekend but we did do a 14 mile round trip on the bikes with DH and the kids yesterday
I'm aiming to do a few runs next week whilst I am off work and we are hoping to paint the lounge wall.0 -
So DH has £300 of expenses due in on the 20th. Usually they'd go straight off the BC but I have a cunning plan....Pay the remainder off the Cap One card, so that is clear for DH's expenses use going forward and the remainder off the BC.
That also means that come pay day this month the Cap one card debt will be gone for good and I can then plough everything on to the BC.
The BC and MBNA will get the usual payments as normal.
Would this work? Or should I stick with paying it off the BC as normal?0 -
If you're planning on DH using the cap one for his expenses I'd clear it this month then you know where you are. That way you know any balance on the cap one going forward is DH expenses and only that.
I'm sure you've answered but do you not use the other two cards now either?
So once you've cleared cap on and this is the card being used for expenses you will have a clearer picture of where the debt is and see it going down every month as you can 'disregard' the cap one card going forward.
Hope that makes sense. That's what I'd do anyway

That makes perfect sense hun
The MBNA card has been put in hiding away from mischievous 14 year olds
The BC will get used for general stuff but that is/was rare.0 -
Also to add, any extra money will be ploughed on to the BC going forward so it should continue to drop (once I have a final figure).
I have at least £32 to come from Quidco, plus I'm £10 off payout with OP and next year I will do the same but will try and split between both the BC and the MBNA.0
