I know hun, it's gone quick. I think that's why I like this team, it has gone really quick because everyone is good to work with. The last company the time just dragged on.0

Morning,
It's lovely and sunny again in Swindon, but much cooler than it was. Makes being on site bearable as the cabins aren't overheating despite windows/doors being open and fans on the go
Work is busy at the moment, we are coming to the end of the first phase and moving on to the second one, so it's all go.
On day 5/22 for my lunches to work, again left over BBQ stuff but mixed in with salad, so fairly healthy.
Didn't drink anything alcoholic last night but had a fairly good nights sleep, I'm not going teetotal but just cutting down a bit.
DH has two interviews on Thursday, one he knows he will get an offer from, this will be a 2nd stage one and is just a meet and greet this time.
DH is now using the Cap One card for his expenses, so I can keep track better now it's nearly empty.
DD's invoice for her transport to school has come through, so need to pay that...£700 for the academic year, still could be worse could be paying for DS as well....long story and one explained in my previous diary. Money for said invoice has been put aside and just needs transferring over to be paid.
Dinner tonight is chicken and spicy rice with salad.0 -
Hope you hear about the job soon. Good luck to DH as well!

Hi,
I found out yesterday that I will obtain control of the other phases from next week...Yay!!!
In other news, I spoke to my agency bloke today.
He has been trying to pin down the bloke that makes the decisions regarding recruitment without much success. During our conversation I explained that as much as I don't want to leave the company/team, I need to think about the future and can't be temping forever. He understands that and will put it to the bloke when he speaks to him.
My agency bloke is coming to site tomorrow morning for a catch up, so we'll see what happens....if anything0 -
All sounding good. Hope work can sort things out.
I went through a cutting down booze stage and didn't want to go teetotal either. I am now in a stage I call 'mindful drinking' where I am not drinking out of habit, have loads of AF days and enjoy it when I choose to drinkIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
