We always have mixed parents evenings, and then you get home and see others raving about their wonderful children
Hope you get a positive update on the job soon.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Well done on hitting your target so quickly
Great idea to break the June goals down into smaller chunks - that's what I'm doing.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Our parents evening is really boring They spend 2 minutes telling you the good stuff and that's it! Obviously mine are smaller than yours but sometimes I wish they would tell us the bits they find harder etc or what I can do to help at home!
Hope you've had a good day

Afternoon,
PA cashed out, so made a payment to the Cap One card....it is finally under the £400 mark :j
I did a few surveys on OP, so £21.05 to go to cash out.
Quidco has £1.88 on it and I am waiting for the house insurance to clear on there then I can cash that out and pay that off the Cap One card too.
If things go well, the Cap One card should be near to £300 by Christmas (fingers crossed!)
I brought my lunch to work with me again today, a fajita wrap and a cuppa soup that I had in my drawer. We've lots of salad in the fridge, so I'm going to use some of that up this week too.
No news over a permanent position, just yet, it seems that it is with the Construction Director and he has the final say. I've been told that I haven't been forgotten, just a waiting game. So we will see.
Bike man coming over tonight, so if nothing else DS will be happy.
Finally the background stuff seems to be settling down, just hope it carries on.0 -
Make sure you're taking time to yourself too

I love working on this site, the client was doing a fun run and there were a shed load of sweets left over and they brought them over to our cabin....I always have sweets on my desk, as it's good rapport for visitors and staff.
So now I have a ton of sweets, not including what is hidden away in my drawer to last at least a few weeks.0 -

Thanks lovely, I am trying to get my tapestry done which is 'me' time. I get engrossed and forget the world for a little while.0
