ThanksI do enjoy it and it is relaxing when I can motivate myself to doing the boring bits :rotfl:
If the one I want is still for sale on pay day then I will buy it.0 -
Also well done for resisting the tapestry. I have just been for a mooch around the charity shops and picked up some bits to do some sewing. I finally found some time to get my sewing machine out and have so far made a dress for DD4 and a jumpsuit for DD3. Got to make a jumpsuit for DD2 next. But I make them out of old curtains and sheets from the charity shop which keeps the cost down a bit and it gives me something to do in the evenings instead of surfing the web online shopping!0

Morning,
Loving the sunshine
Have checked the credit cards and the Cap One card has gone down, they hadn't credited a payment that I did but it seems to have finally caught up.....that is now under £400:j hopefully it'll be under more than that by the end of the month
BC has crept up but that is due to DH using it for his expenses so I'm not overly worried about that, it will fluctuate every month.
Lunch to work is going ok, I was working from home on Monday.
Nothing much else to report.0 -
Great to get one of them under £400. How soon can you get rid of that one completely? Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thanks Hairy, I'm hoping to get rid of that as quickly as possible...certainly before Christmas but earlier if I can.0 -
Well done on the payments for the Cap1 card, that will be done and dusted soon. I would pay minimum on MBNA whilst still on 0% and blitz the BC as that has the highest interest rate. Hopefully you'll be able to get another 0% offer by the time MBNA is running out.

Now that has given me food for thought.....:cool:0 -
Afternoon,
I have been crunching some numbers about this afternoon.
MBNA - Minimum payment is roughly £70 but generally pay £150
BC - Minimum payment is £126 but we generally pay £150
Cap One - Survey/Quidco money used each month.
To get rid of the Cap One card, I'm thinking of paying £80pm, which is the 'remainder' that we would have paid to the MBNA per month, plus carrying on with the Survey/Quidco money on top. This would then get 'rid' of that problem within 3-4 months.
I will still carry on paying the £150 to BC until the Cap One is gone and then pay the £80 and any Quidco/survey money on to the BC.
OR
I just carry on paying the Cap One card with Survey/Quidco money and just let it end when it ends and use the £80 on top of the £150 payment to BC to try and reduce it that way.
Decisions, decisions.....any helpful help or further ideas welcome0
