Great news about parents evening for DD
. All of my DC had swimming lessons for quite a long time, as I wanted them to be strong swimmers and they only had one term of swimming at school!

Both my two were (still are) good swimmers. DS qualified as a life guard many years ago. Shamefully I can't swim. Someone threw me in a river when I was 15, I almost drowned, the experience still traumatises me and I have avoided water ever since.
Good news about DD's parents evening.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Morning,
DD's swimming assessment went well and although she's not right at the bottom, she's on Level 2 Junior Beginner. She has a free trial lesson in three weeks time (pool is shut for refurb) so she can then decide if she wants to actually do it. Lessons are £28 per month, so not too extortionate, but needs factoring in to the budget.
Credit cards have been paid and the balances now look like this:
MBNA: £6350
BC: £6224.59
Cap One: £407.72
Total Amount paid off this month: £2179.48
Total Amount Paid off to date: £5970.32which is over my original target of £4000 and not far from my revised £7000 target.
I'm determined that the Cap One card will be at least £300 by Christmas, which should be doable
We need a new fridge, so I need to see what I can find. The fridge was left by the previous owners and is well past its sell by date....
Got some nice free eggs from my mate on site this morning, he's such a lovely bloke
I'm kind of eager for May to start, I want to get going and try and get my goals started. Is that silly....or sad? :rotfl:0 -
I can't wait for May budgets/goals to start too
I'm tempted to start early :rotfl:
Happy Friday
Have a lovely day

Hiya,
Hope everything and everyone is ok? I'm loving the sunshine
First things first - Lunches to work, only managed one so far this week, must improve or I won't hit my target.
Washing - I have put two loads on the line outside first thing this morning, so I'm hoping that when I get home, they will be dry.
No word as yet on the job front. but my 6 months isn't up until the middle of May, so not holding my breath until then.
Got more free eggs from my friend, I'm sure he's got ostriches based on the size of them...either that or they're walking funny as a result!!! :rotfl:
I'm thinking long term now and where I want us to be in the next 6 years, It would be great to get rid of at least half of the debt if not 3/4 of it.0 -
Hope you get good news on the job front
