  • Quick update again.

Nipped to Asda on my lunch break, spent £10.79.

Also I've done a few surveys today, although PA seems to be having problems with their server.

Need to think about my goals for May and make a list of what is coming up that I need to pay for.

  • Morning,

Did a small load last night and this has been hung in the conservatory to dry as the weather is hit and miss today.

Kids have got left over chilli from last night for dinner tonight, both of them have clubs tonight.

DD's parent's evening tonight, reports so far are good :D

Brought my lunch today so keeping on track with that.

    Still thinking about May's goals.

    Have a great day everyone.

Time to drag myself out of this rut that I have got myself in to and get motivated.

    Good Things

    I'm back posting again
    Some money moving is working
Savings for Christmas are building up
Keeping up sewing DD's badges on her blanket

    Bad Things

    Debt has increased
AFD's are virtually non existent at the moment
    Not much walking done

    May Goals

May - I need to be more focussed and get myself back on the wagon and out of hibernation.
    • LTW every day except Friday's
    • AFD's needed
    • Meal Plan
    • Try and reduce grocery spends
    • Washing outside to dry when possible
    • Flylady when possible
    • Walk more
    • Do more of my tapestry
    • Spend less time online at home

    Things coming up/pay for:

    DD's Guide camp remainder - £20 - PAID
    DD's October Guide Gig - £30 - PAID
    DS's IOW Cadet camp remainder - £80
DS Cadet day trip - £15 - PAID
    Our Anniversary
DS's birthday presents - End of May for June - He has sorted his list out
DD's Boulogne trip - Euro's needed - I think we have enough left in the cupboard
    DD's swimming lessons - £28

I'm sure I will add to the above as I go along.
  • Hope parents evening is going well. I went on a school trip to Boulogne once, happy memories :).

  • Parents evening was fantastic, DD has settled in to Year 7 really well and there are no problems with her work....one sorted, just the other one to sort!

Pay day tomorrow and I can't wait.

I've pledged 17 LTW next month but will try to make it more if I can.

Quidco hasn't shown up yet, so I guess that'll be Monday when it hits.

I've adjusted my upcoming list as I forgot we've signed DD up for swimming lessons, I know she's 11 and she has had 'some' lessons in primary school but the teacher wasn't that good and DD's not had any confidence since. Hoping that this will spur her on.

DD has her swimming assessment tonight to see what level she will be on.

I'm hoping to reduce the Cap One card significantly next month too, so hope PA behaves! :rotfl:
