Sett Inspection - suspect I've brought back a badger jawbone!
4 Town of Horse Wrinklies hour at MrT, 9am, DOES NOT WORK. Farce. Abusive jokey ignorance levels and numbers higher than last week. Reason? Apparently, 8-9am is supposedly dedicated to NHS and 'frontliners ', self-declared'.....who were boasting and laughing about their easy deceit.
No more. Very few checkouts with screens, ad hoc at best.
Headed to w8🌹. Spacing, safety, sharing, courtesy
FLOUR!!!
Even better - learnt their ABSOLUTE, DEDICATED Wrinklies' hour is 7-8am; perfect for morning person &.
5. A reverbe!.... indeed a Rare Spotted One Penny variety:-) in the gutter, as & checked for lost garnet earring (one of birthstone Past Times pair from late and blvd R)
Another happy ending, found later at &squat on path out back:-)))

Great St Mary's compline, Town of Gown, online - strongly felt, needed, shared. Had also just spoken quickly to France (PM father met+known, if unfavourably, in village. Posts passim) and Spain, after intensive care news.

The tricky bit of working from home is when you loose what day it is & just stick at it. Mea culpa, will dump the grins & bale back. In my get up & stretch breaks, and when the work phone flattens (exhuasted!), this is where I head to!
OS Pleasures recently [caution time lapse]
Thinking of mhagster & the family love of Christmas - the Queen is on this weekend & I have a slightly giddy urge to get a tree up & decorated. (I can cope without the turkey.)HIGNFY by technology! As a techie, riveted at how smoothly it went & quietly chortling at the offscreen effort that will have required.
Great big smile at Mhags supplies of flour & eggs - looking forward to hearing the amazing creativity therewith. Very easy to be envious, but what I actually covet is that sheer talent. Still, my oaty biscuits were devoured apace, even if every batch is something of a dice roll!
Finished Picard - oooh fun & with a great story, and smashing special effects, all is nicely set up for another season.
The rhubarb has gone distinctly phallic. Should I worry? Fetch a sharp knife? Sit back, giggle a bit & watch to see what happens?
Lovely youngest has brought me a bowl of soup, with a proper soup spoon! All those years pointing out, reminding & then nagging appear to have paid off. (He even writes his thankyou letters.)
A long hot bath, emerging into clean clothes & with all the long hair clean & untangled & tidied - showers clean you, baths relax you as well.... I’m so comfortable even the odd noises from middleson’s room are being “live & let live”d. Yes, both curiosity & imagination lulled by hot water & soap & still more hot water.
I have no idea what has been searched for or by whom, but today’s eBay advertising algorithm produced an email asking “like camping & rocketry?” My imagination has woken Right Back Up...
I am not going to be remembered as a great cook. I burned the fish fingers a tad. Pleasure is we ate it all anyway.
In this house, it is not easy being a royalist. Just her speech! Calm sensible reassurance, utterly hopeful, utterly affirming. Small wonder she’s only served in small doses.
How’s this for irony? Middleson is staying Health & Safety (academic by laptop) while practising Health & Safety (real time, save lives) by doing this from home. Wryly amused & proud of him. In between times, he's in charge of my exercise, teaching me knife throwing in the back garden. The neighbours are cautiously agog - Joe Wicks he isn't, but my technique's improving...
Letting YouTube sort me a background noise when Sting & Jo Lawry duet with “practical arrangement” - laughing & near drizzling simultaneously. Oh to have been at that show, live!
I knowingly lit the blue touchpaper advocating Marmite as a cunning bonus ingredient in these times, but the joy of finding unexpected fellow enthusiasts is very special.
Thought I heard yelling (I work under headphones) so dumped tech & scampered upstairs to find husband singing along to Kerrang. He’s fine. I’ve had my cardio workout.... 2 pleasures in one!
I have official permission to go back into Manchester to collect my ergo mouse. Quite how building security will recognise me under my homemade mask I look forward to finding out (they know me rather too well, & by name, anyway) I plan to check my boss doesn’t need her headset or mouse either so one trip can help plural aching wrists.
Health, Strength Love & Courage to all!
Oh yes - who couldn't love Jacinda (and her translator) with this?11 -
For yesterday,
Suspect we may have just missed each other & as in emporium similar time, no queue, blissfully quiet and, apart from one numpty of an exception, all respecting the required distance. Yes bread and SR flour to boot!
Came home with a big bunch of tulips purely for mental well being, plus creme eggs and mint choc chip ice-cream!
Waving at our window cleaner, neither of us like heights / ladders so pleasure of seeing clearly!
Snap on kitchen cupboards DD perhaps clean windows showing up all the tea dribbles etc.
Had a long chat with DB in the evening.

Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday.....
Cutting rhubarb from the garden. It grows well
Making four pots of jam from the rhubarb with added ginger root which was originally given to me as a small plant by best friend (who likes growing things bit doesn't often have time to cook)
Having enough things already in to do some cooking/baking. I made cherry scones, potato cakes and chocolate cake as well as the jam.
Lady next door put a home made face mask through the door for me. I have no plans to go shopping just yet but it was a kind thing to do. Left a jar of jam for her as a thank you via a hole in the back fence. She can clean the outside of the jar and there's no chance anything would survive in the contents after being boiled
Chat with husband of lady next door while we were a respctable distance eithe side of fence. The HT and I talk to each other a lot but it's nice to have some extra input occasionally. The HT is spending time chatting to his friends via "discord" which is a free voice chat and message app. so he is also having a break from having to talk to the mothership each day.
Take care all of you11 -
What problem are your trying to solve ...
And here is the solution?
Ms Cranks. Rhubarb. Dip it inn sugar and ate behind the shed!
LT. Eat inn tulips?
DfV. It is any DAY!
Todays photo is a Moment in Time!
Yes it is Carnforth, theys be a nice tea shop theres as well. Snorkers has biun aten there as well!
Now heres your version of the Life of BoP!
BoPsie has ordered foods online as BoP is vulnerable and has a black spot letter. Wobbleades as well! S and W are supposed to have linked but they cannot be rrrrs'd. They shall no longer get any of BoP's moneis to their greasy palms. Please AVOID!
We did not has the snorker fest this morning, but the biscuits of weet instead! With full milk. None of that skimmed carp! Buttered toast and jam, raspberry as well.
Was inn the yard of BoP this morn, clearing more weeds and looks good. As it is lined up inn holiday areas BoP likes, we were inn the Mid West around the cherry tree today. Well good now is yard of BoP. Big bee of Bummbles was inn his tree chomping on the nectar.
We has luinch of Hot Dog on the plaza, BoP does not have a patio, as a patio only has room for a table. We has a large paved area the length of BoP's pad! Raffles joined inn with his chase skills and another shrew!
Now BoP did not watch a flix last nite, as we had extras from Ted to watch. Tonite we is watching more Seth. A Million ways to Die in the West. Wobbleades are inn the refrigerator.
Tonite for dinner is mean and hot Buzzard Curry, served with the long grain rice. Will be rite tasty as well. That is loads of Buzzard, chopped, toe nail onions, squeeze of tom puree and BoP ingredients of Termites (turmeric), coriander, garlic, and chilli. Proper!
We nearly has a kitchen emergency! No lard and had to get a bottle of emulsion instead. Fortunately BoPsie managed to get some lard inn, so the emulsion will be waisted! It will be complete disaster if BoP has too use the emulsion. As inn words of BoP, emulsions are for walls!
That is the lot for you this day.
Keep Safe

Good afternoon
Unbelievably good weather. Our garden thermometer said 24 degrees! In early April! In Yorkshire! Spent as long as possible outside today. Vitamin D levels should be a bit higher now.
Cooked some rhubarb which came in our greengrocer box. Don't think I've ever cooked it before cos I don't really like it. I grew up in a rhubarb growing area ( we always called it tusky!) and we used to eat it raw, dipped in sugar. I think I prefer it that way to cooked.
I'm so glad kindles were invented before lock down was. I know it's not the same as a real book but it's comforting to know I won't run out of reading matter.
Watched Rain Man. I've never seen it before! How did I manage that? Enjoyed it though very late to the party!
Happy 🌞 day12 -

Pleasures for today....
Walk with dog in the park, she met a friend (Monty the black lab) and had a good herding session with him whilst I and Monty's human kept a sensible distance apart.
Pleasant drive to work for an appointment to get fit tested for a respirator mask. All staff on our unit have the proper gear, top quality. I may look like a cross between a scene of crime officer and a tellytubby, but if it saves my life.....
A civilised lunch with my son. We have moved our main meal of the day to lunchtime. Two courses, home cooked, table set with best china and cutlery, sometimes a glass of vino, music from my extensive CD collection - very civilised.
Lying on a sun lounger in the garden for an hour this afternoon.
Putting fresh linen on the beds for tonight and sprinkling lavender oil to aid sleep.
First ever Zoom video conference with workmates this afternoon where we chatted, laughed and got updates on the situation. I normally cover my computer screen camera with a bookmark showing a grinning chimpanzee. I suppose if I forget to take the picture down for a meeting they'll all be hearing my voice but looking at a monkey's !!!!!!......One life - your life - live it!10
