Pleasures for the last few days:
Reading all your updates. Always make me 😊
Beautiful weather yesterday. Out in the garden. Clearing the builders’ mess so we can use the patio. Cleaning the kitchen windows so we can see out of them! Planted some salad leaf seeds. Bedding drying on the line.
later on I made fruit scones so we had a cream tea in the sunshine ☀️
homemade apple crumble for dessert
Grateful to assume my runny nose and sneezes are hay fever!
Another lovely 😎 day. I hope it is where you are 😊😘☀️9 -
Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday,
Didn't get on here to post yesterday, but the room of doom (HT's bedroom) is clean. I'm not sure that the cat approves
Rolled out the last of the gingerbread biscuit dough and made some more gingerbread men. I've seen a great idea for Easter where you turn them upside down and make them into bunnies holding mini eggs. That's a project for some time this week
Thank you message from my aunty who I talked through the "registering as vulnerable" process and who has had her first care parcel. I do keep checking to make sure she has all she needs - she doesn't live close by but I could get to her if I needed to.
Best friend received letterbox parcel of sweets that I arranged and was chuffed. He's working long hours as he works for the NHS and the sweeties were a welcome surprise.
My Easter cactus has a flower on it. It's still quite a baby plant - best friend gave it to me as a cutting last year so I wasn't expecting flowers just yet.
DfV I really enjoy your epic posts :-D
Take care all of you10 -
Always read your pleasures.
I have two for today:
My very old doggy Molly who is 17 years old making it through the winter and having the joy of sunning herself on our back lawn.
Palm Sunday - found a very old palm cross and joined in with service online x
Keep safe hugs x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.10 -

Todays Picture is of the USS Constitution, anchored in the marine park in Boston MA. Was an interesting visit there last December.
& Yous rites. Too many people will thinks it is free money that does not need to be repaid! Main problem is that the banks got the money 12 years ago, we did not. The banks are still getting their money, would it be better that I got it? That way I can pay? But even that way, those who think it is free money, would still not pay?
Oh wells, enuff of pontificating BoP, now on withs your version of the Life of BoP
Wes is on a Ted weakened! Ted last nite was on the rays of blu box, and wobbleades were consumed. I knows, a repeat, but it is good to chuckels as well. Three cheese was wolfed down with nuts, crips and bits. Well watered! Ted 2 tonight all set up to go! Cocoa shalled be drinked.
We dids has the mean has bin chilli last nite for dinner, bins of kidney, tinned toms, onions and a few carrots! Tom pure and chilli added for taste and long grain rice, not that bashcarpi adulterated carp! You pay the premium for what is essentially long grain! Got it.

2 oz of Self Raising Flour
1 oz Proper Suet, shredded
Some cheese, salt, pepper, and parsley to taste
All served up with pan gravy!

Hello. A much more productive day.Up early with doggy, beautiful almost full moon to the back of house and out the front a new day just dawning and then a lovely sunrise.
made pancakes. ( because we have eggs and flour!)
Walked to allotment with DD1 and all the other hundreds of walkers! Waaah! Normally there would maybe be a handful of folk out!Mulched between beds at allotment, did two beds worth of weeding and hopefully get down tomorrow and do the other two. Managed to salvage some chive plants that someone was going to chuck. She’s taken over the big herb bed so will need to plant my own. We were forecast warm but it never really happened. Then it started to get a bit too busy for me so we left.Met a friend of OH ( and mine ) on way home and had a chatter with him from a safe distance.Had painted one panel of fencing this morning and did another late afternoon.DD1 made veggie burgers. Hmmmm...they were okay I’d just rather have had a burger burger! Had them in wraps with salad and son made coleslaw ( grudgingly...well the alternative is you paint the fence. He made the coleslaw!)
chat with friend on phone. We’ve probably ran up double figures of hours this last week but always plenty to chat about!Just called mum to see how she was as she hadn’t returned calls. Sore, are you taking painkillers regularly. No. Well you need to for them to work .10 -

Weekend pleasures -
At work, two 12 hour shifts, so missed the sunshine but still pleasures to be had.
Colleague who sells Body Shop stuff gave us all handcream. I spent the weekend applying vanilla scented handcream every time I disrobed and washed hands.
A cohesive team, everyone pitching in and helping each other with good spirit and humour.
Someone brought in a homemade chocolate cake. Mega yum.
Son expanding his culinary repertoire, Thai Chicken Massaman on Saturday, Sausage ragu pasta yesterday. Both good, he even ground spices in my porcelain pestle and mortar. Unfortunately the pestle broke, it was the cloves that got it.
Snuggle from Roger (tabby and white kitten, now 7 months old). Just wish he wouldn't let off such huge stinky farts all the time. One life - your life - live it!9
