Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday.....
I made mac 'n' cheese for the HT and froze it in portion sized boxes. That's a job ticked off the list
I planted a few more seeds, I'm going to do a few a day. I planted nasturtiums because they flower so much and spread - a lot of flower for very little seedand some catmint for the cat.
Courgette seedlings have popped up. I like courgette and garlic cream cheese soup so I'm hopeful.... I did grow some last year but not many. This variety of seed was recommended by a gardener whose blog I follow.
I managed to find an online supplier that would do a letterbox sized delivery of dairy free sweets for best friend (the one I used last week is now closed due to volume of orders).
Roast chicken dinner - food hasn't featured in my pleasures for a while but I really enjoyed the roast yesterday.
Take care all of you11 -
For yesterday,
A warm, sunny day mostly spent in the garden.
Planted up more carrots, radishes, mizuna, lambs lettuce and mustard. Grass was cut and forsythia cut back.
Saw a number of big bumbles careering around and birds constantly busy.
Sitting on the swing seat with a book and a beer, small dog between us.
Evening walk followed by her Majesty and then more archaeological digging in Egypt ( not me but a programme ☺️ )11 -
Good morning Peeps,
I am posting my 5 now, before reading back, as I am experiencing & style losses......
Third time lucky...Recenty:
1. Back garden allotment progress........Using up the pile of reclaimed bricks and repurposed containers for raised beds. Compost bin emptied and used for potting on rtc plants bought in Morrisons.2. Met the new baby. Social distancing observed. ❤️ Gorgeous.
3. Virtual pub quiz. More than 40 teams.
4. First BBQ of the year. Too cold by the time we were eating, so sat inside. 😆 Not quite Nathan's BoP......forgot the buns, so had to make do with pitta bread. 🙄
5. DS1 made a jug of Pims.
Have a lovely day 🙂In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)

Recently
A good night's sleep ( I sound like you Frith!) Sleeping is never my strong point but recently, understandably, has been much worse.
An Indian takeaway from a favourite restaurant, collected and delivered by DD. Such a treat!
DH put some fairy lights up in the back garden, but didn't tell me. A lovely surprise at dusk when they came on.
Happy sunny ( again!) Monday everyone

It feels like it, so what!
NaggleBlitz. Oi, we does not have sausages here inn the parish, we has SNORKERS! ElfInn. was a while ago since we has the Nathans.
Todays picture. Dry Dock in Boston. In the naval yard, minded me of the old man BoP who worked on the docks inn Meggie Town. Was amazed that boats came in and were repaired.
Now on with your version of the Life of BoP
Doubled up on Ted this weakened, finished Ted 2, Wobbleades were consumed.
Had snorkers for brakefest gain this morn with best of back and toms, mushrooms and some fried tatties from yesterday. Tea was drinked as well.
Yesterday, BoPsie did her Mary Poppins impressions. The parasoul of some twenty years took off, nearly taker her with it. Raffles was unharmed. BoP was out with his saw this morning, and chopped off the end and reset the parasole inn to the base. Will do a trip for another year. Good to get mes tools and hammers out.
Had time inn the yard after wards to go around the other pig and the cherry tree. Weeded and sore ted. Looks good. Has nows too bins for the dump! Raffels is ok on his flat pig again, now it has bin defurred!
We is having Dog Bitsers for dinner, served with loads of water and well be hot. I is often stopped on the streets by people who want to know how good it is to be able to cook like BoP!
Just sore tin out a flix for tonite, details tomorrow.
That is all inn your day for the Life of BoP!
Keep Safe!

1 Some gardening achieved, potatoes, peas and peppers all planted, some tidying done, and then I took a moment as a beautiful red admiral decided to bask in the sun alongside me. Watching the woodpecker feed on the birdfeeder.
2 Freezer tetris turned out to be veg burgers so had them for lunch, fish will be tea later, I’ve popped us on a diet for a bit as we are both feel like we need to.
3 I registered on the gov site, and I had a note through to say they have checked with the doc’s and I’m on the vulnerable list, Asda immediately phoned and assisted honestly couldn’t ask for better service.
4 Phoned the vet for repeat meds for our fuzz on heart meds but they can’t send that amount of fluid through the post so we will do a contactless pick up in a few days. Seems a shame as we always have a banter in the waiting room.
5 I learned my lesson last week I can’t clean the whole house anymore without then feeling very bad, so today I split it, the upstairs is clean and tidyish. Sitting here toying with the idea of buying Tin Can Cook while it’s on kindle offer at 99p.

Afternoon all
Been remiss in posting - not sure why...
PK - i have bought tin can cook also - too good to miss. i know that Jack gets more if you buy from her direct, but i probably wouldn't have bought it otherwise. I sometimes put something in her 'tips' jar on her website. she's doing some amazing stuff on Twitter atm

Oh it’s late for me. Been chatting with DD1.
up & about early.
painted a further fence panel. That’s all the ones that are ‘seen’ though still a few down the side lanes. Want to now start on raised beds so will see what paint is leftover for rest of panels.
put up my second string of fairy lights and it looks lovely.
walked to allotment. Had a shout over the main road chat with one of my colleagues. Lovely walk with DD1. Saw baby goats, lambs, birds, rescued a helium balloon out the field of sheep...because believe it or not balloons don’t actually go to heaven. All the mulching done round my four beds. Back and forth with the wheelbarrow. Had a banana for lunch and enjoyed the gentle warmth...then it lashed with rain! Had a nice chat with one of the older chaps that comes...at an appropriate distance. Walked back through woods and fixed the stake on OH tree ( it had came loose, we’d brought a mallet)
home and finished the painting.13
