Hello. I’ve just came up to bed . Kind of done with the day! Won’t sleep yet but had enough of Wednesday.
went to mums who was actually slightly better today so put off a phone call to GP. Spent most of time out in her jungle of a garden to try and reduce contact, did lots of pruning and weeding.Walked down to supermarket for just a few things then home.Caught up on some missed programmes ( usually busy chatting to friend on phone when they’re on! )
it’s been a nice day. Gently warm .12 -
1 Spent a lot of time in the garden today. I cleared and re packed the green house, then cleared the patio, jet washed the patio and everything to go on it, re put it all back together, somewhat shattered. Birdfeeders also re filled.
2 The farm delivery was very needed and completely contactless, duck eggs and all.
3 Gammon, pineapple and duck egg, with leftover tinned pots is dinner.
4 Aching, over did it again, but I won’t be rushing up tomorrow, looking forward to a soak.
5 Saving this one.

House elf I’ve been enjoying the Jamie Oliver series too
1) crumble and custard for breakfast - why not? Almost the same as cereal and milk lol
2) lunch in the sunshine in the garden
3) a full hour tea break at 4 again in the sun, reading, lovely, last of the washing dry
4) then at 7:30 knocked off, glass of wine, bangers and mash cooked by dd2
5) just in from our walk and gbf phoned. Lovely long chat. A nice day all round,

Not a good night's sleep. But the pleasure is I managed to book an Asda click and collect slot for next week. There are some advantages to being an insomniac.
The continuing glorious weather( sorry, Mhagster, and others whose weather has not been so obliging) .
Our favourite garden centre is selling Easter hampers. Ours was delivered yesterday and it's full of lovely goodies. A bit expensive really, but we're not spending money elsewhere, so it's a treat for Easter. There, I've justified it!
Happy, hopefully sunny, Thursday everyone.11 -
Good morning Lovelies,
Yesterday
1.Thanks for the Jack Monroe book info PK. I have bought it for 99p. Not sure that DH was too happy about being woken up to tell me the Amazon password 🙂
2. Still working hard in the garden, but the results are not as noticeable. DS2 has been tasked to help, but disappears after 15 minutes. DH has cleared all the branches. One more bonfire tonight and we will be tidy........ until I get the chainsaw out again 🤣
3. DS2 has cleaned the glass doors in the extension. Very shiny 🙂
4. Mac n cheese for tea. (Jamie Oliver version DD). Everyone ate it....... little does DS2 know he has eaten courgette hidden in the sauce 🤣
5. The Goonies. Another recommendation via the Mark Kermode film programmes. DH and I have never seen it.......We have now.Sitting here with the back door open, but no sunshine today. Have a lovely day 🙂In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)
We have more in common than that which divides us. (Jo Cox)10 -
1. Hardly any traffic on way to and from work.
2. Watched one man two guvnors. It was enjoyable.
3. Went for a walk round the hospital and looked at the blossom.
4. Spoke with a neighbour.
5. The girl next door was playing with her new found friend. This week is only the second time I had ever seen her with a friend.9
