1. Hardly any traffic on way to and from work.
2. Watched one man two guvnors. It was enjoyable.
3. Went for a walk round the hospital and looked at the blossom.
4. Spoke with a neighbour.
5. The girl next door was playing with her new found friend. This week is only the second time I had ever seen her with a friend.9 -
Pleasures yesterday....
Long Walk with dog to secluded field, she had a good time playing fetch the ball.
Text conversation with daughter - my birthday is tomorrow, hers the next day, and we've established that she has received my presents and I have received hers. She has already opened the presents as they arrived, spreading her birthday fun over a few days, and is delighted with what I got her. I am practising the art of delayed gratification and will open my presents tomorrow.
Lunch of steak burgers in freshly baked baguettes and a mountain of salad. Got to get those greens in us.
Afternoon spent planting seeds in pots in the garden, flowers and vegetables.
Brilliant warm sunshine and birdies shouting their beaks off.
Lovely message from an OS friend, much appreciated.
An online singalong with Rock Choir.
Horlicks and dark chocolate digestives as son and I watched Ashes to Ashes on IPlayer. One life - your life - live it!10 -
For yesterday,
Our local farm shop is selling compost so picked up a couple of bags, next in my sights are plants from roadside stall near yard.
Lovely farrier came to do girlie’s feet, tied her up in halter and stood well back. He is as busy as ever as considered essential animal welfare. Nice to chat to someone new!
Lunch was feta salad, eaten in the garden as warm in the sun.
Cleaned and tidied out the airing cupboard, replaced lavender in bags from dried stash.
A beautiful full moon rising up behind the beech trees.10 -
Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday....
Up early and out for our daily walk. It definitely sets the mood for the day - we're much happier when we've walked first thing
Next door neighbour shouted over the fence that the rhubarb and ginger jam that I gave them (tiny jar left from last years batch) was amazing. For a person who said at the beginning of last week that she wasn't that keen on rhubarb, she's doing well. Her husband made rhubarb crumble with the sticks of rhubarb that I passed through the fence last week which she wasn't going to eat but then tried and discovered that it was lovely and now the jam has been enjoyed too
Weeded the flower beds in the back garden. The garden is almost back to normal and no longer looks abandoned. Need to cut the grass again
Bottle of cold lager at 4pm out of the bottom of the fridge whilst sat at the garden table surveying the results of my gardening. I have no idea how old the lager was and it's been there a fair while but it tasted alright, especially in the sunshine after a day of physical activity
Soaking my aching legs and shoulders in a hot bath
H-E2 my gardening assistant didn't even show up yesterday, never mind 15 minutes
Frith yay for more bats than cars and sorry about your hen.

Head On!
Todays picture is head on into a scrum! Well theres noi footie, so here is a minder ofs whats was!
It was mes picture fopr yestDay, but the marmite and dippy egg talk changed BoP's mind!
Nows on with you version of the life of BoP!
Bin inn the Mid West again inn the yard, clearing more bits. BoPsie was out with the sekateers! Like Pirateers buts without the cutlasses! Then BoP cleaned the one side of the garden room of BoP, with the big brush thing and the hose. BoPsie ran as she is scarred de cat of the hose! It looks gleaming!
Took old printer outs of the studio, and installed on the office. Wes was I said played office chess yesterday so nice and snug. Will reboot the lot shortly.
BoPsie did the toms, cucumber and mini pilchards in tom sauce for lunch, with raspberry and the last of the crumble. Raffles had enuff fuss so had some as well.
No flix last eve, as it was carp, and BoP does not need to tells you it was dire! So wes is out of the challenge of uni. We did a bit of comics inn coffee bars and a Neal Brennan. Cocoa was drunked.
Tonite is snorkers and tatties, with some veg. Not quite down to the snake and kidney pie or mes meatballs just yet. But as yous can imagine, not bees long before BoP has reversions and gets his tongue lapping!
Gets me going just thinking about it. BoPsie at the brakefest this morning, we had popping crispy rice with lashings of proper whole milk, that BoP was muttering inn his beauty sleep last nite. It did not wake BoP up, but he recalls he was again chasing the tigers inn the woods!
That is all from BoP this day!
