Morning, we’ve done the very early morning doggy walk. Ventured further into the field as we’ve had no rain last few days it’s drier than it was. Birds are still singing . Trees are still budding. Sun still rose ( though not quite as majestically as last few days) Dog had a good run around chasing his ball, there was much to sniff. Saw a family of ducks then they saw us so up they flew.Still plenty cars driving out the estates this morning. Hopefully all essential business. Lockdown. It’s what I wanted to happen but I needed to get my daughter home first. Thought we’d have more than a five minute warning that it was happening. I think (reading between the lines) that even if my workplace stays open my services are no longer required as it will just be 5 days and not 7 ( of which I do 2) but it’s not just me affected, so many will be. I’m fortunate my outgoings aren’t huge and we will manage. For a while. But my savings were to last a lifetime and not be eaten up in months.Right! Have a good day. Stay safe . X13

For yesterday,
Bed stripped, sheets washed and dried on the line.
Went to the yard, groomed and worked equine girlie. Timed right it will be easy to avoid others, will be my daily exercise.
Stood in the warm sunshine and watched two buzzards up high, riding the thermals. A moment of complete peace in all the madness.
Decided to go into horsey town for a few bits ahead of scheduled PM address, got what I needed and was glad I went in light of what transpired.
Mackerel with stir-fry veg & noodles for tea.
A big thanks to all who continue to post here, your company & pleasures are a joy in themselves, thank you ❤️14 -

1. Mother's Day spring posy and instead-of-a-service note left under gate by our remarkable vicar. Daffs just opening now :-)
2. Did what we now know was a last Town of Horse mercy mission/run for young x and y. Glad to buy Unwanted By Others chunky carrots and parsnips from emporium. More oranges. Milk. Dark Bounty x several....well, 2 for £1 continues. This is called "Maintaining necessary &squat stock levels."
3. Glad to have back field perimeter to quarter for my 1-hour's permitted exercise (shades of &'s prison visiting). Yes Lainey - somebody was scooping high sky thermals here too:-)
4. Call from France;-))). M completely cut off, but F came up to top house and did 1-man band rehearsal. They shouted to each other. & realised a bad news wedding will have been forbidden. OUI!! A good call, every which way. & will ring M Thursday night - our alternating plan works so far.
5. To and fro msg'g with Spain and NZ already this morning - lots! Long may this unusual connectivity reign.
So you know, it's raining and cold in southern Spain since yesterday.

Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday.....
Our 7am morning run along the prom. Only runners there yesterday - we saw 5 and all of them were running in the opposite direction to us and at least 5 metres away (thankful for a very wide prom).
Called in at the co-op on the way home. I bought a loaf and gave the lady on the till the HT's bottle of hand sanitizer left over from his last day at school (I didn't buy it recently but I assume it will still work).
Found suitable cards for my sister's birthday and my great nephew's birthday on Moonpig so ordered them. So lovely not to have to trawl round card shops looking for the right one. My sister is 50 in April so it had to be a better than usual card.
I rolled out the rest of the gingerbread dough that was in the fridge and that made another 15 gingerbread people.
Reading everyone else's pleasures on here. I hope that you all stay well and safe. Mhags I hope your daughter is home safe soon.13 -

2. made soup which we had for tea with HM sourdough and then more cake for pud

Yesterday
Didn't go to open up our caravan for the season. Not really a pleasure as such cos I really wanted to see the sea again. But proud of us both for being sensible!
A trip to buy food. Got everything on the list except plain flour. Has everyone started baking all of a sudden? I've still got SR though so will be ok for a while.
Obviously didn't go for our usual after shopping coffee treat, but think of the money we'll save!
Continued making a dress I started last year. It's a summer dress so I put it aside but will be nice to have something new to wear when the sun comes out.
Speaking of which, another beautiful sunny day - tho not quite sleeveless dress weather yet.
Happy 🌞Tuesday everyone

Hello. For today: good doggy walk with a good doggy ( he isn’t always)
DD2 out of advised isolation ( though son and I have another week precautionary) so she went to supermarket! What was it like? Who did you see? Tell me everything about the supermarket.Washings out. Mostly dried.Crusty bread for lunch. Luxury.
messages back and forth from friends and DD1...just about to leave Dubai for Bahrain.Message from niece...come and wave out the window! Went further than that...as far as the driveway and had a 10 minute chat from a suitable distance. Baby slightly confused why he wasn’t coming in.Leftover rice/ chicken/veg from last night with salad. Just as yummy as last night. We went a big walk this afternoon. Over the fields which were dry enough but rain tomorrow so back to usual soggy /boggy. H had the best runaround chasing his ball and just relishing the freedom. It was a tad fresh but good to get out and stretch legs and breathe fresh air. And no one else around.13 -
1 A ha the Disney channel acquired for trail.
2 Who’s idea was it to de clutter the caravan awnings, which meant putting them up in the front drive for photo’s honestly we started to lose our sense of humours…
3 Lovely neighbours who saw us and where going out, picked us up milk and refused to let us pay, seriously what stars.
4 HM chilli.
5 twenty seven thousand in the que for the Ocado website really, not a pleasure so instead continued meal planning
