Hello. A fairly quiet day here ( ha...just for a change!) I’m a really vivid dreamer, always have been but these ones lately are just crazy! Glad to get up!Lovely walk with doggy bright and early, enjoyed what nature had to show off first thing.
cut my back lawn. It’s tidier than it was. Swept up and pruned and snipped and weeded and deadheaded. Felt like a spring day.My sister called me. The first time in about seven weeks!DD2 friend dropped off some supplies for us at lunchtime. Hurrah!Phoned my mother who only wanted to talk about herself. Not even attempting to let me finish a sentence!Optician had called and left a voicemail ( I don’t get phone reception in extension for some reason ) so it didn’t even ring, to say from Monday they will only be seeing ( see what I did there) emergencies and that my appointment would be cancelled for the following week though I could nip down now if I wanted. Sorry I’m self isolating!Just been on a very quick doggy walk. A tad brisk!12 -
Evening all... have been remiss in posting today.
Pleasures for yesterday
1. went for a walk with OH and his mate. Strictly kept 2m apart but we went to the local bird sanctuary. was nice and was empty!!
2. Called in at Lidl on the off chance - only about 10 of us in there and plenty of fruit and veg but not a crisp or a pizza to be found. People are weird. I wanted fruit and veg so i was OK.
3. cracked on with my chapter....
4. Watched Kajaki, a based on real life film - harrowing, tense but good.
5. went to bed and watched the penultimate 'the Split'.
And today
1. Nearly finished my chapter
2. OH cooked Jack Monroe's chickpea and peach curry - was yom
3. My new car pod has been stored, won't be going anywhere for a while. The pleasure is that it is out of the conservatory. Also cleared out a cupboard for the cushions and there is enough for OH to do a tip run tomorrow.
4. the washing almost dried on the line.
5. The chairs are out of the garage (to make room for the pod), but it feels like summer is on its way....
6. (from Bank) Joanne Harris "blackberry wine" was 99p on Kindle....
Have a good evening folks.I wanna be in the room where it happens11 -
Pleasures for today (Saturday)
1) Not a bad sleep
2) Did a bit of work on the allotment.
3) Tasty toad in the hole for smaller son for tea with sausages and leeks for me.
4) My sister popped round (to the garden, as she works for the NHS!) and it was a farce. She wanted me to open the car (I had got her some hen food for her hens) and pass her our mum's mother's day card but all not within 2 metres of each other! I said she would just have to grab the card (I was writing it) then we realised I had automatically licked the envelope!
5) Bigger son phoned and is happy enough at the Norfolk site as they can use the kayaks and climbing wall when they like. I do think it will be more boring for him at home. Smaller son and I spent an hour staging the Wii Olympics!

1. My neighbour came in and finished the electrical work he is doing for us.
2. Spoke to his wife while we were both in the garden. She works in retail only two days a week but feels that Saturday may be her last day for a while. She is in the fortunate position of not needing the money for essentials.
3. Daffodils from the garden in a vase and they look cheerful.
4. Both sons helped carry stuff from the front of the house to the back gsrden. It involves climbing 10 steps too so wheelbarrow can't be used for it. DH has decided to buy sand in case he has to self isolate them he can lay a path.
5. We all watched a film together. It doesn't happen too often.11 -
For yesterday,
Bit of a lie-in followed by boiled egg & soldiers.
Worked in the garden, cleared a bed for replanting and repurposed some old tubs for growing veggies. Nice in the sunshine and got warm digging.
Over to the yard to see girlie, she was asleep in her stable when I arrived and didn’t hear my footsteps so jumped like mad when I appeared at the door bless her! Groomed off the rapidly shedding hair and trimmed her legs. Apart from distanced chat with owner saw no-one.
Picked up some carrots & leeks from farm stall, made me realise how much easier we have it in the countryside.
Lovely evening walk around the fields, small dog chasing tennis balls. Home and opened a bottle of fizz to celebrate Ostara, the spring equinox.12 -
Yesterday
DS face timed us. Had a lovely long chat.
DD introduced me to House Party app. Seems like fun but I really didn't like seeing myself on the screen. Will have to do hair and make-up before next time!
Family decision to postpone mother's day to father's day - although as that's in June, that might be wishful thinking!
Another lovely sunny day. Strong wind tho, but might blow a few germs away.
More gardening and housework done. We'll all be living in little palaces at the end of this
Frith. Glad your son is in the same country as you. And happy keeping active.
Happy sunny Sunday everyone

Just popping in to say good morning again. It looks like it will be another lovely day. Been a walk with dog...hopped over the burn into the field and threw his ball for him for 5 minutes. But still some soggy patches and I have a true fear of sinking into mud so decided we would just come back. But the birds were singing and the buds are all budding. Sky a beautiful blue.Have a good day! Stay safe x13

Good afternoon all, pleasures for yesterday....
Up early and a walk in the sunshine along the prom at 7am. We saw probably 5 other people max and we kept a good distance away from them all
The HT was up, dressed and came for the walk without a single complaint
A Thank You card pushed through the door from the new neighbours with a lovely message inside
Project four completed. I have restarted project five as I thought it was the wrong size. There comes a point when it's best to start again rather than arrive at the end and realise you're never going to be happy with it
Sitting on the HT's bed watching videos with the HT and the cat for an hour. I like that he still wants to spend time with me

BoP Not on Tour, Live ..
We should be going round here today and seeing the Cherry Blossoms. Virtual Tour day https://www.nga.gov/exhibitions/2020/degas-opera.html
Now on with your version of no life according to BoP.
I have put a bottle of wobbleade in each room and later I is on a pub crawl!
Just done an apple crumble for supper, dinner is off the menu now. That will do for a couple of days.
Don't panic, BoP did has his snorker fest for brekfest yesterday. Right tasty it was as well.
If you're not reading this at home, ask yourself why?
