Hello. Beautiful sunset at the moment , just gone 7pm and not quite dark.
see if I can find five pleasures.Left out two bags of stuff for charity that were collected bright and early.
washing out and dried.Continuing kindness of friends. Dropping off stuff at doorstep. Picking up stuff from doorstep.DD2 feeling better. Up and dressed and ate something.Good chat with DD1. Pfft to her plans and she’s uncertain of what’s ahead.Garden bin didn’t get emptied today. No biggie...they’ll be other times to get it emptied. Though fingers crossed recycling gets done tomorrow .Emergency rations of chocolate eaten...only one lot left!Managing to unblock the Hoover ...oh my goodness. It was choked with whatever had been under DD2 bed! She’d moved her bedroom round to accommodate new bedside tables I’d painted. Bleurgh...much poking with an unbent coat hanger, poking with the retractable tape measure. Blowing. Bashing. Wriggling. Anyway finally shifted and I was able to do the rest of upstairs!Tidied my wardrobe and put everything away. Damp dusted my furniture and window sills.Had a ginormous snooze. Was such a deep sleep and very apocalyptic. Woke up quite bewildered.Friend called and we chatted on her walk home . She’d kindly picked up a prescription for DD2. But pharmacy had reduced opening hours and she was one if the last allowed in.DD1 won £20 in a competition. I’d put her name down ( and technically paid the £2) so I’ve said she can either keep it till she gets over or I’ll transfer it to dollars.There...actually managed loads. Felt a bit blah today. I don’t like the enforced staying in but no point in being half hearted about it.13 -

Pleasures today.....
Enough sunshine to put two loads of washing on the line to dry.
Seeing dog run around with another dog on our walk today, in the fields, nearby.
Having son home, his firm want employees to work from home if possible.
Tidying up in garden this afternoon, whilst dog plays with her football and kitten runs up the crab apple tree.
Speaking to dad and stepmum on the phone, they're keeping well. Dad went shopping with my stepsister this morning, but he's given up his Saturday morning pint of Guinness in the club.
Noticing all the new growth on the trees, Spring is here.

1 I found a couple of recipes all noted down to try as and when things run out, I have just made no cook peanut butter, choc and oat bars, we’ll eat them but it’s the first and last time I make them they aren’t quite as nice as I thought that mix should be.
2 De cluttering, 2 boxes of clothes not worn in a few years now, bagged for CS, winter jumpers boxed away where clutter was, and ferret material for bedding and blankets are now where the jumpers where.
3 There is such a thing as commentated on marble racing, ironically it was quite a sarcastic and addictive watch.
4 Stew with herby dumplings delicious smells wafting around it was tea tonight, and leftovers are dished up for lunch tomorrow.
Saving 5.

Pleasures for today (Thursday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Sausage, tomato and mushrooms for breakfast.
3) Had a good tidy up including bathroom clean.
4) One hen OK, the other still ailing.
5) Bigger son feeling a bit better. Still in Norfolk.
6) Man came to mend the tumble dryer.
Email from the National Trust that they are not recruiting right now (which seems reasonable enough) so my application has been turned down.

Thursday pleasures
Chat to a married couple of neighbours - they are working from home but going for a mini walk at lunchtime & chatting to neighbours with the requisite 2m distance. The 2 Spanish chaps next door are moving out 🙁 - hoping to get home to their families before the borders close - the pleasure is that they have been nice neighbours.Non pleasure - the bike failed its M.O.T. - but still rideable & part ordered so will try again next week
DH popped into MrS on the way home - no fresh vegetables but managed to get a couple of tins of coffee 🥳 & some tins of tuna
Dinner was chicken fried in butter with fresh carrots bought a few days ago, a few boiled potatoes for DSis but a new favourite for DH & I - mashed together parsnips & sweet potato seasoned with pepper - delicious 😋

Early morning y'all...
Shame for the job (and DS) Frith..
Pleasures for yesterday
1. OH cleaned the bathrooms, takes him hours.. Takes me 1 hour.
2. Got hold of some fresh stuff we'd run out of - salads mostly. Aldi seemed to have lots of fresh. Aren't people strange...
3. Finished editing chapter 6 . Chapters 7 - 11 to go. I think 1 - 6 are not that bad (apart from my dodgy 8 pages) and do think it is finally 'getting there'.
4. Left over pizza and birthday cake for lunch. The cake is tasty but an odd texture. i think i must have used the wrong flour. it's come out quite 'puddingy'. Anyway everyone likes it.
5. Successfully rewrote an exam to an online seen paper.. And it gets to be the way i want it, rather than the terrible paper someone else wrote that i was deeply unhappy with.
Have a nice day all - keep washing those hands...I wanna be in the room where it happens12 -
1. Bus to and from work was quiet. Work was quiet patients cancelled/didn't come. My room was clean by the end of the day and all emails and admin are up to date.
2. Family WhatsApp group was amusing. Can tell people on self isolating with time on their hands.
3. A friend had good news - her boss is leaving soon so her job will improve.
4. Amazingly washing dried on the line.
5. DS2 cooked a delicious chicken curry.10
