Wednesday pleasures so far
Up before 10:00 - a minor miracle 🤣
The bin men are back on track - rubbish gone by 8:00 a.m.
The sun has got his hat on, hip hip hooray, the sun has got his hat on & we’re going out to play 🥳 .... bet you were all singing along 😂 go on admit it 🤣
First wash load done & on the whirligig, 2nd & final load in & now hung out.
So grateful for a south facing garden 🥳
It is soooo quiet - Every day is like a weekend but it does make keeping track of the days a bit challenging 😉 thank heavens for wall calendars 👏
Definitely Feeling more upbeat due to the sunshine 🌞
Reading various threads & admiring the way that everyone is picking themselves up & getting on with the new RL. It does my heart good to see so many kindnesses.
see you later 🙂

Lainey, what an amazing sight, one of my favourite birds, I normally only ever see the flash of colour.
1 Up early, loving waking up to sunshine, all the animals love being up early as well, I planted out all the bulbs and rescued some herbs and flowers.
2 A pallet delivery for a tonne of wood pellets turned up, reasonable exercise un packing the bags through the house to a shed.
3 We now have 3 bin bags full of washing, I have everything crossed the new washing machine part will turn up it was supposed to be here now, that and it’s great drying weather.
4 We finished the home made flapjacks, so I made some cakes, I quite like cupcakes as they are a set portion.
5 Thankful for the freezers, and food planned accordingly, today is breaded fish with peas, later there’s also morello cherries with ood custard, I’m sure it will be fine?

Hello. Well the child has landed. Hurrah! ( she’s my untidy one...not so hurrah!) but I love her so much and just squeezed and squeezed. And maybe I shouldn’t have but I did anyway. It took her 57 hours to get here.Good doggy walk this morning. Enjoying the peaceful start to the day. ( especially after a more rubbish than usual sleep)
pottered around, swept, washed floors, moved rugs from dining room to living room. Which meant moving furniture!Kind offers of help from friends but we are all good as DD2 had been out yesterday.Made macaroni for my girl. Had it with some toasted yesterday bread. So that didn’t go to waste. She brought me a bar of my favourite Australian chocolate. Not eaten it all but what I had was yummy .I’ve just put the bin out ( we get our main refuse bin emptied three weekly and that’s the only one that will be getting emptied now) and it’s a bit misty and smirry rain. Blackbird sitting atop the roof of the house singing.Doggy very pleased to have his sister home.14 -

I suspect my joys will be food based today cos work has been emails in-between (and sometimes during) 7 online meetings
1) breakfast was porridge, yoghurt and cherries. I have to say that jar of polish sour cherries is wonderful
2) lunch was olive risotto and chopped apple. Weather cold and grey so ate indoors
3) supper was more olive risotto lol and sausage, broccoli and pasta for dd2. We are eating a lot more together even if eating different things,
4) and a glass of the cherry juice mixed with tonic. The jar that just keeps giving!
5) after our walk I was still only 6000 steps so danced to some absolutes 70s which was huge fun. Will do more tomorrow. And now, after a long soak in the bath, bed. Night all xxxMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Pleasures for today (Wednesday)
1) Not a bad sleep, but an earlier start then I would have chosen!
2) Stuck to BSD OK. Order from local farm shop did not appear so no milk, eggs etc.
3) A very warm and sunny day. We worked on the allotment for a long time and the greenhouse was totally cleared and now has a weed proof membrane floor with a few slabs.
4) Sat out in the garden.
5) Watched a lot of television!

more pleasures for Wednesday
Popped the mostly dried washing into td for 0.5hrs to finish off. Now folded & put away. Finally did 2 items of hand washing, hung on whirligig but now hung over banister.
Dinner was meatballs in tomato sauce on spaghetti with grated Parmesan - 🤤
Mrs Fox put in an appearance for her dinner 😆
Saw the robin - the rather expensive ground feeder was worth the cost - the pigeons don’t get a look in 🥳

1. A lift to work. It was a very quick journey with very little traffic.
2. Managed to help a neighbour who didn't receive her telephone appointment on Monday.
3. Hopefully a colleague with health problems will be allowed to work from home. Boss is becoming convinced as so many people have suggested it.
4. Daffodils looking good still.
5. Texted a friend to see how she was and things ok with her.12 -
For yesterday,
Another bright, sunny day and more washing dried on the line, for a little while there was just one item in the DLB, get me!
Synchronised bathroom cleaning with online pals, bit of a giggle and helps us through.
Sitting on my back doorstep drinking a cup of tea and watching small dog rolling in the grass.
Reading my book in the garden and counting my blessings that I have such a space.
Freezer dive produced a small amount of flaked salmon and some prawns, made some spelt shortcrust pastry and did a quiche for tea.

Hello all, pleasures for yesterday,
We went running first thing. We stayed well away from everyone that was out (not many) and came straight home after
Started weeding the front garden. After lunch I moved to the back and had a bin bag full of weeds/prunings from there too. I need to cut the grass next before I do more weeding to make sure the grass cuttings fit in the garden bin
I made brownies for the HT. Cake tin now full
The weather has been perfect. Sunny but not too hot. I'm saving most of the indoor jobs for the inevitable rainy days
Our usually unsociable cat sitting in long grass with her new friend. All we could see were two pairs of ears, one grey, one black
Sneaking in a pleasure for today - seeing that Mhags daughter is safely home
Take care all of you
