Good afternoon all, pleasures for yesterday.....
Lie-in as school hols and no work this week
Day out with the HT. I save up my tips and when there's enough we have a day out. Lunch was pizza which isn't my favourite but it was the HT's turn to choose
Weather was mostly dry so we didn't get wet
Visited the shop of a friend who has a chihuahua puppy. The puppy has grown since we last saw her but is still small and very cute (our cat is bigger)
Home to a warm dry house which given the circumstances of some just now is a pleasure not to be underestimated. Sat indoors talking to best friend online and listened to the wind howling and the roof tiles tap dancing whilst feeling very lucky indeed.12 -
oh dear bop i see we had the same score :-( of course for the hatters this is dire - we're back on the bottom. oh well, let's find 5 good things
1) button came off expensive (but bought in sale) cashmere coat - the good news was it came off in my hand and is now safely in my pocket
2) committee meeting at Queens Hotel. pot of tea for one, £1.75, got 5 cups out of it
3) didn't have time for lunch before concert at cathedral but had an apple in my bag, then after concert coffee and cake for £1 - bargain!
4) just as well cos then went to Clarks. Had my feet measured and bought a pair of boots (in the sale) a pair of brogues and a pair of smart flats which will go with a skirt or dress. I think put against the cost of a car the expense is justified
5) home, out, walked dogs, caught in snow storm but was in my new boots so feet lovely and dry. then comfort food of mash, beans and tomatoes with grated cheese and now in bed watching Endeavour

Using luxurious shower cream from my Christmas Advent Calendar.
Watching Sounds of the Seventies on Yesterday channel. ABBA, Sparks, Cockney Rebel, all from my era. The previous programme had prog rock bands Free, Yes, Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Dr Feelgood, all good listening.
Tabby and white kitten schmoozing me on the sofa as the wind and rain howl outside. One life - your life - live it!12 -
Hello. Another day of much weather. All on constant repeat. Rain. Wind. Hail. Sleet. Dry. Blooming freezing.
