Oh no, this doesn't work on my laptop at all! Everyone's text is weirdly superimposed over the previous line.
Anyway, 5 pleasures for today.
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Took bigger son to the barbers.
3) Hens OK.
4) Took smaller son to the football and it was a draw.
5) Bigger son went to games night with my brother and brother in law.
6) Casualty
7) Listening to the storm now, which sounds like one of those trains that whizzes right through a station without stopping.

For yesterday,
More blue skies and sunshine.
Spending most of the day outside, in the garden cutting back and sorting ahead of today’s storm, everything seems so advanced here with daffs flowering and blossom appearing in the hedgerows.
Over at the yard, sorted girlie out and then cleaned tack. Have taught princess pony to give kisses on request, the reward is one of her favourite blackberry treats but now she is continually wanting to press her nose to my face, there are worse things in life.
Home and very hungry so slice of newly baked bread with butter.
Caught up on this week’s Cold Feet and the soundtrack included Suspicion by the Originals, instantly taken back to my Northern Soul days.
We had snorkers for tea and small dog had a whole one to herself, cooled down of course!11 -

Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday.....
1. a smallish lie in - work day but not school day
2. Washing basket emptied - all laundry done
3. Work - good company, working hard as usual but chatting too. Power went off to kitchen for an hour which was "interesting", but it was fixed and we were soon cooking again.
4. Into Sainsbugs after work to buy cherry gin that workmate told me about and met a schoolfriend from way back when (they used to live round the corner from me too). Quick catchup, good that both our lives are ok.
5. Easy dinner because I've been to work. Cheeseburgers, chips and salad. Yum.

Had a trip out to get petrol top up and coffee at the garden centre almost next door and the weather although uncomfortable to be actually out in was not as bad as anticipated.
Goulasch soup on the stove for lunches for a couple of days smells lovely.
House all clean and tidy, bed changed and in the washing machine and nothing left to do.
Rugby this afternoon.
Got some nice butchers sausages from the garden centre for a meal in the week, lovely stuff!
