I lost a big post earlier so shall try again!Thursday was a busy work day and hurrah all done till next week. Decent tips. Out before dark. Hello to a few people I knew.DD2 had bought me lovely flowers and some puss-y willow .
Friday pleasures come from in front of a roaring fire 😁
rubbish sleep. So was glad to get to morning time and get up. Scraped all the cars of ice ( because I’m nice)
Had to take mum to an appointment. She was in a very negative mood and nothing was right. I felt very drained by her today. We don’t have a fabulous relationship (though kind of on an even keel at the moment) but I try to live my life as positively as I can so constant negativity is rather draining. Anyway ‘free’ day tomorrow!Lovely parcel arrived!Home to my doggy ( via supermarket with a £2 off spend. ) he is always very positive in his welcomes.
Bright sunny day but blooming chilly. Did a bit of pruning and sweeping in garden. Brought logs in for fire.
Son didn’t see them so he brought more in so we are well stocked up for the wild weekend!Sunny doggy walk .
clean bathrooms.
takeaway for tea. Very yummy.12 -

All. Change for me as following visits by our lovey physio and OT I am getting used to a completely new way of moving DH as well as this new forum !
Pleasures
1 was listened to and my problems acknowledged.
2 solutions found and new equipment delivered v quickly (they were extremely worried about my back ,when they realised how much DH ability to move any had deteriorated.
3closely followed by physio to check it was ok and to go through the new process again
4 DH tolerating the changes
5 my back for not giving up ,hadn’t realised how stiff I had been until I wasn’t (hope that makes sense !)
6 beautiful day ,got DH easily into “Grandads electric chair”and out doors into the sun for a while .was lovely12 -

1 was asked to do an hour's slot in the teaching - very much enjoyed it (don't get to do so much now)

4 sometimes lodger came over from glasgow - we had haggis, neeps and tatties nom nom
5 then we went for a drink with another friend so all very social
and for today
1 hair cut - got £5 off for being member of the uni
2 then off to glasgow. 25p off my coffee at the station cos had own cup
3 academic workshop on open access publishing - very interesting. and enough lunch left over to take home for supper
4 beautiful sunset as we came past perth
5 office to catch up on emails and eat supper then straight off to play ceilidh which i knew wouldn't have food hence being pleased about left over sarniesMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

I hope this works on new format. Can’t see any dates or times on posts. Does not seem iPad friendly
anyway for today
back to exercise class and the instructor said “bloody brilliant” after my 1 minute boxing with him!
walk through the market in the sunshine to pass time away from the bedlam of building work at home
remembered to get new watch batteries fitted for myself and elderly neighbour
relatively peaceful afternoon at home despite continued work in the next room
ready made curries pinged in the microwave for dinner
night all 😊11 -
Hmm, reserving judgment on this as spacing seems funny with tablet.
Pleased to hear you are getting the assistance you need Sue.
For yesterday,
Blue skies and sunshine.
The friendly robin that usually keeps me company whilst I’m grooming girlie was singing very loudly in tree, other things on his mind maybe.
Message from beloved, he was taking time owed and having afternoon off.
We had a wander around BuryStEd and picked up a few necessities then had coffee and cake in new to us cafe, both were delicious and it seems bit of a hidden gem.
Driving home and a beautiful sunset.

Yes Paulie - exactly same annoyance:
Need dates/times on posts!
It's tricky enough in &'s haphazard connectivity fenny lands. Will try and leave glitch comment. Will you, too?
Took 5 goes, but ici suis-je.
Much worsened asb situ when &returned from tutoring last night, superseding ditto after Spits return the night before.
Really don't know what to do....& is on edge, anxious every time out+in now.
Well -
1. Spits v. poor generally, all around it seemed. Becoming the brex-sh-it norm. Scraped through thanks to late 3fig multiple sale.
2. Big outlays this week continue, but at least the €280 out to Ireland means & has an Official BDM Application no. :-) Next, 4 passport pics(2 2b verified), all p/w+I.d. as referenced, etc....to send off, then more big waiting before passport can be paid/applied for. & notes real discrepancies in grandmother's age at marriage/ childbirths/death - 6 very varying elastic years! And 4 births, not 3....
3. Enjoyed my rtc emporium ingredients omelette:
mussels/garlic/mushroom/pesto, half at Spitalfields, half fridged:-) Scrummy.
4. Starting another light read Isabel Dalhousie small fiction/Alexander McCall Smith. Not sure why.
Well, it was in a take-the-lot free bagful...
Goodness! She's had Jamie's child....!
5. Rugby at The Alma to head for - anticipatory osp. Tomorrow, &'s constituency chooses... KS for &:-) as in Town of Gown hier soir.

Hi Ampersand
where can we leave glitch comments? 😊9 -
Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday....
Outing with best friend to confirm the HT's work experience times. Friend is going home soon so good to be out together while we are able and ge wanted to see where the HT will be working (other friend's cafe).
Ironing all done - better late than never. I can't remember why I didn't manage to do it at the weekend but it's done now...just in time for the next lot to hit the ironing chair.
HT came out of school happy as he doesn't have to go now for two weeks. One week of work experience and one week off for half term.
An hour or so on project one. I'm hoping it will be finished soon so I need to find some extra time to spend on it if possible.
Online gaming with HT and best friend. Good chat and some teasing over whose online character is the highest level (it's not mine)
