No damage from the big blow yesterday, thank goodness.
Big bowl of Goulasch soup for lunch for which I was grateful, very busy morning in the shop and no breakfast meant a most hungry me!
Chat on the phone to DD1 and the baby making delicious little sounds in the background.
Not having anything set to do this afternoon other than a walk to the shops for a couple of things, blissful.
Daffodils, narcissus and crocuses out in the back border, it's sheltered there and it's lovely to have the bright spring colour.

Been away for a few days. Went to Iceland with DH and did spend most of yesterday at the airport before they found us a hotel due to cancelled flight.
1. Iceland is a great place to visit. Lovely and clean, peaceful with friendly people.
2. Blue lagoon it was lovely being in it and it was snowy too.
3. Seeing the geysers and waterfalls.
4. Time spent with DH
5. Good hotel with a central location so we walked miles.
6. Seeing snowdrops and daffodils when we got home.

I still can't read anyone's posts but here are my pleasures for today:
1) A lie in.
2) Hens OK.
3) Popped to Sainsbury's with smaller son.
4) Impressive wind and rain throughout the day (and right now!) but no damage.
5) Bigger son phoned at 10pm and is really enjoying working with all the different groups of school children.
6) In bed with 1hwb and about to catch up on more This Life. Although it made me both nostalgic and slightly melancholy last night!

Aw thanks Juliette, I think so but aware might be a tad biased ☺️
For yesterday,
A bright, sunny if still windy day.
High jinx from the racehorses heading up to the gallops, winds under their tails too PK, saw one unseat it’s rider but luckily caught quickly and rider seemed ok.
The emporium was quiet and I picked up a few bargains plus used two money off vouchers.
Over to see beautiful grey one, she seemed unperturbed by the wind and was head down munching when I walked up to her paddock. Her neighbour, the naughty little pony, was scratching his bum on the fence when crack it broke, quickly run over to extract him from the tangle and reported to yard owner.
Oven baked mackerel with brown rice & veg for tea.
The moon again, this time rising behind a bank of cloud and turning the edges to silver, beautiful.
