Gosh
Hope your Ninou is okay too. Fabulous name
Is Ninou a dog or cat ?
Not that it matters....I can pretty much fall in love with any animal....:)AKA : Bala La Boo & Bala Baloo

Ninou is M's fox terrier.
M's always been the person to whom everyone brings abandoned and/or ailing bêtes.
Of course, Ninou was spitting out the tabs buried in scrummy soft cheese, but has since taken them happily, with cheapo cat pouch munch..
She still wears the latest post-surgery lampshade fashion accessory.

Update us on Tiggy when you can.
Being with Teddy and Scarlett in Spain, then Max and Ninou in France gave me animal time which i can not responsibly have here, as I'm in and out of what I now call [y]ukland rather a lot [on smell of oily rag.]CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Well so far today's pleasures have been.
1. Colleague bearing gift of homemade Baileys Cheesecake.....mmm, twas delicious and between us we polished it all off with our morning coffee.
2. 3 more things crossed off the 'to do list' and only one added....well so far anyway.
3. popped home at lunchtime and walked the pooches, without getting wet.
4. The advent calendar has arrived, homemade wax melts which I ordered from Et5y and they smell heavenly and even better came in plastic free packaging.
5. Threw a chicken in the slow cooker, so easy dinner when i get home later, will just have to cook spuds and veggies.Well Behaved women seldom make history

Hello. Glad you’re back safely &.
Dark and dismal here but shall need to put on my jacket and take doggy boy out soon.
Up early. Had a chat with DD1.
Cleaned bathrooms and hoovered upstairs.
Hairdresser said ‘can anyone help with a blow dry from trainee?’ Me!
So dropped stuff off at work en-route, quick chat with main kitchen colleague ...we don’t work along side each other now.
Hairdresser for a 90 minutes (!!) wash and blow dry. However it certainly looked better than I did when I went in, it was free and we all have to start somewhere so was happy to help.
Went to mums , aunt was there so chatted with her. Hoovered and booked a few appointments for mum.
Home and hello dog boy can you pee quicker it’s raining!
Dozed off on sofa. Rather uncomfortably.
Have taken three separate bags of what I hope are bolognese out the freezer to use up for dinner.0 -
what a lovely group this is. welcome back & hello everyone
PM2BOP signing in early today before the Charlton game while i can still focus on pleasures!
1) lovely day working at home as carpet man coming. electrician was passing, saw i was in and now all light fixed
2) dreich day (see mhags 21 years in your beautiful country and i've learnt the most useful word) but cosy cosy in my house
3) lots of toast, some with local jam, some with marmite, and a fake rice pudding made from left over white rice, left over stewed apple, left over cream and some sultanas. yummy
4) long lunch time walk with the boys. i wore my long raincoat and my wellies, and yes i did jump in some puddles
5) penultimate venison slices from the freezer and now watching the last 2 episodes of Giri / HajiMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

My postal voting envelope is sitting on the piano, BoP. I haven't been able to vote in person since 1996, as I've worked all the election days, as a poll clerk or at the count.
Pleasures for today (Tuesday)
1) A slightly better sleep.
2) Bigger son checked the hens for me and re-set the rat traps.
3) Went invigilating. Only 2 hours today.
4) Took smaller son out to Webbs (large garden centre). He hasn't really been out much this year (besides football) and it is a struggle to get him out, then to get him to STAY out. But Webbs was always a favourite so we enjoyed looking round Lakeland, the pet department, the Christmas decorations then spent a happy 20 mins switching on the bubbles of all the jacuzzis!
5) Went to the museum I will be working for and managed to put my foot in it about 4 times as the door was opened by the person whose contract will not be renewed... How awkward. One of the volunteers has emailed me all of the paperwork they have done so far and it is pretty good. And where it isn't, I'll be able to add useful bits from it to what I've been doing.
6) Watched I'm a Celebrity.
7) Did a bit more crochet.
8) In bed with 1 hwb and will watch Holby City just now.0 -
1 Various bits and bobs done, washing, drying, 2 ill ferrets meds made up, repeat prescriptions put in for them, then with the radiator leaking again off to screwfix.
2 I did a lot of comparing for house insurance, shocked at what a good deal else where is to be had, and told the current insurer as much.
3 I went to order something we need and got a pleasant surprise to find it then had a tenner off.
4 I took some great delight having discovered some paperwork from the worst contract I ever had many years ago now, shredding every last bit of it. I gathered up other unrelated paperwork that needs to be filed. Rather than filed in the bin.
5 My exercise class was cancelled tonight, so the bit of choccy cake I would eat with or without still got eaten.0 -
A rugby rebuttal, just to keep bop's needs to nettle satisfied:-)))
& was genuinely pleased we WON our bronze well, rather than losing for silver. Factor in my utter, well-grounded loathing for all things Farrell, a dirty, dirty player.. although liking Tom Curry and Maro Itoje.
Wrote as much elsewhere at the time.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Tiggy had 2 teeth extracted. Infection. Just glad it was nothing else.
Paid on one card but in about a week can transfer the balance to my zero interest card. Have a year to clear it. Yippee.....
Both cars out of action, not sure if we need them so serious thinking going on. They are old bangers and one certainly isn't worth repaint even though it is much loved.
Really pleased that a lady decided to make a job out of ferrying animals and their humans to and from vets. And she waits !
Very very pleased at the invention of disinfectant. For some reason Tiggy 'leaks' after general anaesthetic. Have been cleaning up after her all night. Not complaining as I'm glad she is okay. She will get a bath tomorrow/today.
These are new vets to me and I think we will get on okay. They gave me her teeth to bring home !
I will put something under her pillow. Tee-hee. ;-)AKA : Bala La Boo & Bala Baloo
