    Evening all

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. Rugby, sorry you England supporters but I was really happy with the result. I have an affinity for SA, my heart belongs there. Siya Kalisi's story is inspiring.
    2. Lunch - sourdough toast with avocado and bacon, one of my favourite meals
    3. Went to the fireworks with OH and DS, they were good and it wasn't too cold
    4. Did some work in the afternoon while OH and DS were at the footie, though the Villa lost...
    5. OH cooked a moussaka for tea, which was nom.

Have a good evening - we've a friend and his dog for dinner … (visiting, we're eating roast beef :rotfl:)
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Hello. Fairly laid back day ...full of good intentions!

Woke early. Dozed off again. Woke at 8.45am which is very late for me.

Went into town. Forgot the dress that was to be returned and managed to smash my head on the boot of car as I opened it.

Met an old colleague in M& S and had a chat. For ages! Got a Rtc little birthday cake and some Rtc lemon & limes.

Home. Ahhhh. May have had a 20 minute snooze.

Went to my mothers with said birthday cake and a card.

Home, popped down to neighbour/friend with some money off vouchers. Quick chat, met another neighbour on way back and stood chatting for ages...in the cold and dark!

Mother had a pizza she was just going to chuck out...boyo had it for his tea.

Have just had a quick tidy up and I’m hoping to catch up on last nights telly! But in all likelihood will fall asleep on sofa!
  • PM2DD No game again. Good job I weres out at JAM inn the morning.

Well the fantastic watch of BoP has decided to stop. An old automatic one of a good few years. Duds me normal wrist action on it, no stopped. Its given up its wind. No more. Good job is BoP’s birthday again soon. New one eco drive has bin purchased. Ticking away lick a good one!

Paid for hols insurance and made chopping hot chilli. Three days worth. Well hot. Fine chopped onions, mince, full fat, toms chopped, Tom pur!e, beans of kidney. Rite nice. Tasty proper food.

Had extra snorker fest this morn after gym. Snorkers, best back, pudding of black. Poached egg. Again proper food. Tasty.

Catching ups with the uni challenge. And two fix on Amazonian. Ruth and Alex. Then last nites, Wild honey. Not suitable for & or sparra as its is edgy! Good for you lot though. Remember BoP checks them out for you.

Good to see cadets inn emporium this morning, £10 placed inn their tin, much better than the celeb luvvie fest on the ogle box.

Well that’s yers BoP update this day.

    Unleash your full.

    Pleasures for today (Sunday).

    1) A lie in.

    2) Hens OK.

    3) Popped to Sainsburys early (had to pick bigger son up from work) so read a Christmassy magazine and had a pot of tea in the caf!.

    4) Made an enormous roast with gammon, pots, sweet pots, parsnips, peas, carrots, stuffing, gravy and bread sauce.

    5) Watched His Dark Materials with smaller son then caught up with Extra Slice.

    6) Just had an email that I can do 9 sessions of postal vote opening for the council! I'll have to be careful with the dates as it clashes a bit with the invigilation I have also been offered.

    Ouchie on head bang Mhags

    Sunday pleasures,

Up early and out with small dog just as sun was coming, beautiful.

After listening to the Archers we went out to do a stock shop, nice to have Capt S with me but had forgotten how much he dawdles!

Steak pie and veg for lunch followed by nap on sofa.

Beautiful but deadly, we had the sparrow hawk in the garden and it flew off with something clutched in its claws :(

Enjoyed His Dark Materials then read my book.

    Pleasures for yesterday:

    1. Trip to Lidl. Weeks groceries for only £37.67. Managed to get a £1.50 veg box - included grapes, peppers, aubergines, limes and bananas. All will be used! Also, in and out in 24 mins!
    2. Lush breakfast. We've been trying not to buy bananas etc due to distance/carbon footprint. Had bananas on weetabix as a treat. It's funny how something bog standard becomes a treat after a few months without it.
    3. Used the veg from the Lidl 'waste not' box to make a lovely veg stew/ratatouille thing. Had with rice and then a lovely mince pie after.
    4. Managed to get some work done in front of the telly, took the pressure off this week.
    5. In bed by 8.15pm!
  • There, a good start to the weak. Had to feed neighbores cat. So she was not there, check conservatory. Opened door, wooooosh, meow and inn! And out for her food. Checked ok. Raffles had suspected something, but he does follow BoPsie round when she feeds her!

Back inn the mill. Lunch box is good this day. To proper digestives, and a rocky with the normal mix. Wood smoked apple cheese as well! Tonite is stove chilled chilli. It has a fire in her!

Talking of fire inn the belly!

Now did not watch the flix of Amazonia last eve, but watched some catch up challenge of uni and BoPsie gots off to a flyer! Only one to catch up now. Still catching up with the coffee comics in cars!

PM2DD We has gone too weaks without a loss! Nor a draw or defeat.

Now here is a thing while the truant thinks about getting to another conference, she could bunk up in the luggage rack as Emma flies inn thirst class? Long before she skipped skool, I updated the cavity wall insulation of Pad of Bop and then changed all our lights to LEDs. Gas consumption has gone done from 12,800 to 9,900 kWh per year and electricity from 3,300 to 2,900 kWh per year. That meant I could put into the Poppy collection, more money! BoP has again checked the deals and there appears that Sid has some offers on.

    That’s yer Lunch Bite today!

I see, that will be fine!

Hi all, hope all are well, ouch to the head, Mhags… In our house, we'd have asked if you damaged the car.. :p

    Pleasures for yesterday

    1. A walk in our local water park with OH and DS, before the weather turned
    2. More sourdough, avo and bacon for lunch
    3. cleaned the bathrooms, not really a pleasure but having clean bathrooms is. Plus CLEAN SHEETS
    4. OH cooked roast beef for dinner where a friend came with Tilly the dog..
    5. Tilly didn't want to leave and ran upstairs and hid at home time :rotfl:

    Have a nice afternoon all
I wanna be in the room where it happens

    Pleasures yesterday -

Daughter visited for the day. Nice to catch up.

Managed to get power of attorney docs signed and witnessed so if I ever lose my marbles my son and daughter can act on my behalf.

Discussed my new will with both of them, both quite happy with what I've decided.

Plans made for the three of us plus dog to visit my dad and stepmum (200 miles away) just before Christmas.

Thoroughly enjoyed His Dark Materials. I remember finding Northern Lights really heavy going initially, after two chapters I started to get to grips with the story, and by the end of the book I was hooked. It really is an amazing story. Mind blowing.
