Now I shall mention the footie DD. The #GIMPS last six nil at home. That was a rugby score! Oh and FiL is getting the dust off the Peterborough United 1956-57 signed team photograph again! Totteringham! Oh dear, mine is Arsenal! Puts his pipe down as hes smoked it now!

    Welcome 1/2 hour!

Nows BoP as bin busy since BoPsie has her op. Hes move sidebored into the dining room and replace the books. Nows hes taken out the shelves for the front room and put them up. His models are now sat on shelf three, with a clear landing deck for Raffles on the top shelf.

Got on with other model yestday and Raffles does not like the glue. Nows I always do them with the undercarriage up! Checked my 1:32 model mosquito yesterday. Looks fan tast ic! Will be another four weaks befores I am on it!

Raffles, of the yellow things, has made it in one leap to his new landing deck. He has been given his treat stick.

BoPsie has had her dad call, and told what for. Like she was not too well and was not coming home on Saturday! She is still a tad week, but she had too stay inn. Problems yous sees with BoPsie is she wants to be with BoP! More later.

And inn BoP’s packed lunch box the usual and does not tell BoPsie, a Blue Riband! Nice that is with a cup of tea.

Nows that is all in the land of BoP! Still no clean hankies!

Don’t think about covering the pot if you’re holding the losing hand.
  • Poor Bopsie, I hope her week returns to be it's normal fortnight very quickly and she can gets back home to you and Raffles, bestest wishes winging to her as I type.

We are on holiday cottage arrest as to stay rested today. Been to vets who was lovely. Anti inflammatory meds & antibiotics for a temp (of unknown origin) and a new harness for his lead . To lead from back rather than neck. But no walks along a beach today. So he’s tucked up on floor & I’m tucked up on sofa and going to catch up on telly /reading/ probably snooze too!

My poor dog boy it’s horrid to see him distressed.

Girls are away home. No more noise .

    Other Monday pleasures

Everyone I met today was friendly and chatty and helpful. Nice attributes :)

    No Work! Hurrah!

Haggis seems more settled ( probably doped up but settled)

Washing hung outside. There’s a shared drying green out with the back yard. Rain stopped at lunchtime so chanced it and hung it out...was all dried when I woke up from my snooze!

A piece of RTC carrot cake ...well I’m on my holidays!

Have lasagne in oven and have just put my veggies on...I know Haggis isn’t right as he’s not under my feet in the kitchen.

Not sure how much a pleasure it was but watched an old Midsomer Murder episode! Easy watching.

Quick chat to DD2. She’s home ...there’s such and such for tea...she’d already had it!

    Continued love for Bopsie

  • I’m trying to learn property auctions, I’ve found a site but I’m finding it un necessarily convoluted. I hope I have sussed it out.

1 I cleaned the house top to bottom while DH continues working on the kitchen.
2 Cooking in the van – again, omelette and beans is dinner.
3 Popped to aldee for vitals and picked up some 50 percent of bits and bobs all on the list handily.
4 Catching part of a Hebrides programme and seeing a trawler hand feed a dolphin.
5 I have my eye on a sale item its currently sitting at 60 percent off, I’m waiting for 75 off. But I keep checking the stock to make sure.
  • Hugs to bopsie

    1. Saw some lovely people at work. A couple made me feel much better with their outlook on life.

    2. Stayed dry on my journey to and from work. I got off the bus a stop early and walked.

    3. Lovely tea of pork casserole with apples and onions.

    4. Watched Only Connect.

    5. Managed to print something for DH easily after he had struggled to get it working.

    Get well wishes for Bopsie.
Hugs for poorly poochies and their humans, hate that feeling of worried helplessness.

    Monday pleasures,

Capt S off work so leisurely breakfast together.

We tackled the office of doom, the one cluttered room in the house where all the rubbish seems to accumulate, two hours of sorting, shredding and disposing of but now all done :j

Included in above were two boxes of stuff that had come out of DM’s home, have put a number of photos to one side to make a collage and other precious bits to put into a memory box.

We celebrated by having lunch out, baked potato with coronation chicken which was yum.

Popped over to see equine girlie, cuddles and carrots.

Uni Challenge tested little grey cells.

    My pleasures for yesterday:

    1. Had a great day at work yesterday. Really productive, didn't stuff my face full of crap to get through the day and lovely to see anyone. I seem to be transitioning into the 'good' bit of pregnancy.
    2. Once I got home I had enough energy for a power hour on the house. Did a load of laundry (hung one, bunged one, put one away), cleaned kitchen, tidied and DH cleaned the bathroom. Looking sparkly.
    3. Homemade soup for supper, so no veg went to waste. Put in a cauliflower, celery, spring onions, mange tout and babycorn, plus some pesto from the fridge. It tasted delicious but the colour was/is...interesting. Same for lunch again today.
    4. Good self care. Managed to eat well, take my vitamin tablet and massage cream into all the bits of me that are rapidly expanding.
    5. 1/2 a non-alcoholic beer and a good crime drama on Netflix. DH didn't enjoy it much but I think I'll continue alone when he's not around.

Have a fab day all. I'm excited by all the rain because we're going on a fungal foray on Sunday and this increases our changes of finding some good stuff!
  • Just at Glawster Royal. BoPsie is being rescued. Raffles has covered her wardrobe and is asleep on the shelf.

    More later.
