    A funny sort of day.

MrA - my number one cheerleader of 2 months, sender of a million messages, speaker of 10,000 compliments... I think you can see where this is heading. On Sunday, he said we'd "go official" with a relationship announcement on Facebook (these modern times!) and he was very excited about that, commenting cheerily on all the comments of his friends beneath.

This morning (all before I'd even got out of bed!) I was told he has no feelings for me and we could just be friends, if I liked. I asked a few pointed questions (such as "Why have you been bothering with this?" and "What were all the compliments for?") which received no answers then was accused of character assassination and silenced and blocked on everything.

    Pleasures for today

    1) No longer being in what was obviously (?) a rubbish relationship.

    2) Smaller son very jolly.

    3) Had my hair cut at college (£3) then had my eyebrows threaded and beard waxed.

    4) Told bigger son about MrA and received some very funny messages from him including "Well, he was a bit weedy" and "next time you can get yourself a real man" !!! :-O

    5) Took smaller son to the pub to watch the football.

    6) Have been on call to do elections work and now have a post! So I shall be working Thursday 6.30am - 10.10pm then Friday 8.30am - about 5pm...

    1. Warm wait at the bus stop.

    2. Work busy and a friend called in at lunchtime to see me. She also had to borrow money for car park.

    3. Remembered my lunch. Tastes so much nicer than dandelion the shop.

    4. Warm evening when went out to water the garden. Also sowed some seeds.

    5. DS1 came home and didn't turn the tv on for over an hour.

Sorry for no post yesterday was digesting Monday.

1 useful day at big hospital on Monday

2 fantastic staff including Professor who was wearing cowboy boots !

3 very nearly didn't make it as DH fell heavily in the kitchen an hour before we were due to leave ,no major injuries so 999said we weren't a priority ,as they were v busy .i was in pieces and our lovely Son in law rushed from where he was working 10 miles away and helped me haul him up .

Friend had driven up to take us ,arrived when DH up and we bundled him in the car and went .

4 they were all so kind, are sure this is not Parkinson's ,may be 'one of its cousins'!
    DH is a'diagnostic dilemma '!

5Lots of bloods taken ,they are admitting him for a day and hopefully getting all the MRI's etc done in one go ,then expect to review before summer holidays .
'some of the possibles are treatable ,some are not'but 'we want to have a diagnosis ,so we/you know'

Felt we were listened to and taken seriously .

DH was not at his best ,after the fall and the muscle spasms were v bad .,useful suggestions made and drug regime changed .
Best nights sleep last night for months

The world looks so much brighter after a good nights sleep .

Grateful for my son in law(we have problems at times ,but he came up trumps .and my lovely friend for being the ongoing support she is .

Oh Frith, sorry about Mr A.... some men are just w@^34£$

Sue - hope you get some answers soon.

When was I last here? :/ Not sure...

Anyway, pleasures for last few (sorry if there's any repetition)

    1. lovely weekend away with OH who is now officially retired! we went to Hampton Court (staying opposite). "did" HC thoroughly - as we became members of royal palaces for a year, we went twice!. Had a nice walk along the river and a boat back; went to Kensington Palace on Monday followed by the Wildlife photographer of the year exhibition. OH proudly declaring he is "senior" to get a few quid off :rotfl:
    2. Yummy food - indian, Italian and german
    3. Cleaned half the house yesterday (the other half is later)
    4. Glastonbury steward training with Oxfam last night. Getting closer (56 days :j)
    5. My thesis has some structure (at last!) On my way to a supervision meeting this morning so hopefully they agree...

    Have a nice day all.
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • Sorry that happened Frith it undermines confidence BUT you're a strong and sensible woman, you're running your and the boys lives well and you don't need any histrionics from a man in your life not worthy of being there. Sad as I am that it's happened I also think, given how he treated you yesterday, you might have had a lucky escape. Onwards and upwards lovey and into the light! xxx.

Oh Frith, what a 42 carat plonker he turned out to be and given the manner it was done what a lucky escape for you, onwards and upwards x
Glad to read that you were both treated so well at Addenbrookes Sue, hopefully you will get some answers soon.

    Tuesday pleasures,

Woke up with blocked sinuses and a headache so the pleasure of painkillers.

Tickets booked for the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Text chat with DSIL and arrangements made for a meet up.

Washed all the brushes in my grooming kit and dried in the afternoon sun.

Cauli and broccoli bake for tea followed by the last of my Easter choccie bunny, was sorry to see him go!

Just looking in, hoping that connectivity will oblige for caring wishes to SuffolkSue, consoling ones to Frith - and to younger son, Frith.
& also knows about close suicide, effects ongoing, unavoidable unfortunately. It IS a recognised fear area for our young men.

    1. New surgery date in a month.
    2. Debadgered yesterday.
    3. Warmer than on bitter weekend.
    4. Fingers crossed for 'right to quiet enjoyment'. No later longer a given, sadly.
    5. Compline tonight. Hopefully will feel able to go, with 0230h start for Spitalfields tmrw. More and more no-planning-consent building work/+debris+dust+noise are squeezing inwards, reducing stalls, space, footfall+type. Tribeca's wrecking ball aim is to drive us out. Very very hard work and very uncertain these days, with all costs up, takings down.
    On verra.

Postal ballot hasn't arrived. With current Labour farce driving natural electorate away, this is no loss.

Possible 6. Blackbird seems to be rebuilding 3yr-old next in coralux corner. Found robin fledgling corpse from other ridiculously sited one.

    Doing some necessary Life thinking.
Caring thoughts where needed and happy Bank Holiday breaks and birthdays.

Can anyone explain why 'Edit' won't work/doesn't respond? No idea where 'later' came from, in 4.
