PM2DD Wes more than lost! Hope you don’t get lost going that far south though!
Emergency :heartpuls from Jenny to those who wants one!
Got to do a full weak this time, and then its another blank holiday! You knows what that means!
Got the lounge in some order, the floor is due on 21st May. We watched ‘Harvey’ last night with James Stewart! Very good! Wes has the blinds on order and the floor. Just need the curtains shortly!
I see problems with some media channel and cats. Personally we like cats! Raffles would have them for supper and still get his claws into the bones! Probably sums up life these days. Meselfishness? Especially with the angst at the Vets Club of Saturday.
That chilli was quite like a mule yesterday. It has some kick. Seconds is brewing for WendsDay! You knows the refrigerator is fors wobbleades. Tonight though is prawns bean sprouts and pasta. Will be tickling the bits on BoPsie just rites!
Talking of good foods, the lunch box today has proper cheese, two proper digestives, and a w8rs choccy biscuit, but again I raise you a raspberry mini roll! Toms, strawbs, blueberries and an orange!
How fitting was that?0 -

Hello. Just back in from allotment meeting! Sigh! I'd forgotten some people like the sound of their own voice! Could have been done in half the time.
Did a 3.05 am vomit dash! 2 socks for the price of one and then later on this afternoon another one was deposited! 3 socks in one day is a personal best for Haggis.
Anyway! Was down at the allotment about 9.30am . It was a beautiful morning. Planted some more pea seeds, my 'neighbour' gave me some Beetroot seedlings. Planted some parsley in a tub. And three tomato seeds in pots. And a row of cucumbers. See what happens! Did some more weeding in the community herb bed. Picked my first rhubarb from my crop ( have been picking from other sources up till now.
Reported some fly tipping seen on my walk. It's so loathsome that certain idiots think it's okay to dump their rubbish...we actually have a tip about a mile away from where it was dumped.
Got a lift home . Tidied up my home! Bathrooms cleaned. Floors hoovered a washed. All washing up to date and dried outside.
Hurrah! Australian Master Chef had started for this season! So watched that in dribs and drabs.
Library bus came. Returned 2 borrowed 3.
Lasagne and veg for tea. Finished watching Masterchef and realised I had a meeting to get to!
Beautiful sunset when I was driving home.
Managed to boo DD. Not done a decent boo in a while0 -
1. Interesting day at work. The water machine was leaking. Small amount of water when it was reported but by time someone came to look at it it was more like a paddling pool! Water leaked through the walls. It took 3 1/2 hours for someone to fix it despite numerous phonecalls.I
2. Watered my plants in the greenhouse. It was peaceful hearing the birds.
3. Talk with DS2. He is trying to talk to DS1 but DS1 still doesn't want to.
4. DS2 cooked steak. It was very good.
5. Watched Only Connect.0 -
Monday pleasures,
Quick trip into horsey town, emporium was very quiet and I remembered the stamps.
Not sure if actual pleasure but finally got round to cleaning my oven, it’s been needing it for some time!
A game of throw and retrieve in the garden with small dog, well say retrieve more like walk round in circles with the ball in her mouth, not quite near enough for me to reach it.
Sat down to watch ep 3 of GOT, by the end I felt like I had been hit by a sledgehammer
Mr and Mrs Batty were out and about at twilight.0 -
Well so much to do this week, I could do with another bank holiday! Oh look, here comes another!
Booked BoP’s motor in for its annual service and MoT, that is due in June. Get in early and is sore ted. The plan pays for it, not me!
Had the has been sprouts with the prawns last nite for dinner. Rite tasty and proper!
Raffles has avoided all the nonsense sprouting from the cat nazi on the TV Tax channel and this morning removed another field mouse from the pool! We also feed him and pay his vets bill! Dids not think than would get through the Rust Town profanity filter system!
Two proper digestives are inn the lunch box again today, with other delights, but I do not dunk inn my tea! Two cheese today as well! Rite Tasty.
I’ll crack on then …0 -
Our loft is finally insulated properly, On next year will be warmer!
Our lovely builder is finishing the ceiling today where he took down the 18 small lights and we've replaced them with two 'normal' light fittings that look very nice indeed.
He's also going to paint the lounge for us as it's empty of furniture (just the heave sofa in there) and he's got the floor covered and luckily for us he doesn't have any other jobs this week!
Found two nice 3-6 months babygrows in the charity shop this morning and a little cotton hat for newborns.
We went out for our supper last night and tried a fairly newly re-opened pub at the end of the village and it was ok, friendly landlord and ordinary but nice food, we'll go again!0 -
Just lost my post Grrrr!
Allotment.
Walk uphill, downhill. Uphill . Downhill. Uphill!
Many beautiful wild flowers along the way.
A snoozette.
It's been rainy since I got in so glad it was dry when I was out.
Couple of doggy walks.
