    1. Was inside and watched the torrential downpour.

    2. Survived day at work. It was a struggle at times.

    3. DS1 friend rang to invite us to his wedding. Good to have a talk with him and find out how his business is going.

    4. DS1 home early for a change.

    5. Reading my book.

    Tuesday pleasures,

Fast day so kept me mind off how hungry I was by doing chores, didn’t entirely work :o

So very grateful when lunchtime rolled round, pea & ham soup with CF cheese scones, very tasty.

Horrid day weather wise, high winds and lashing rain so stayed at home, reading my book and cuddling small dog.

More food, this time it was haddock with braised lettuce & peas, sounds weird but ‘twas yummy.

Enjoyed the bake off celebrity special followed by Shetland.
  • V Back at mill. After paying the taxman far too much money yesterday, only for it to be wasted on hot air in a hose in London. Enough said about the waste the better.

4 Was at the gym earlier keeping that just ready for the beach look good for the Wharf of Fishermen. It is on, and wes outta of here soon. Keep yous eyes peeled for BoP Tour Live!

3 Inn BoP’s packed lunch box we has two proper digestives, a cake bar of Jaffa, a chocolate covered digestive, cheese, orange, oranges in slime jelly, snorker roll and some toms! Good for you.

PM2DD Wes had it! No further comment!

Seems the house had one again!

Its will be a one way journey!
  • Getting home this afternoon to a fully functioning house after going out early because the power company were turning off the supply to fix a fault causing problems to all homes in this area, they think as the builder of a new build house across the road 'nicking' the cable with machinery when the house was built.

A drive down to Cirencester, a pootle round the shops and a nice lunch of macaroni cheese and garlic bread with a small salad in a small family run caf!.

A visit to Waitrose, what bliss, my nearest is two bus rides away and then a long walk out of the town to get to it so to have the car parked right beside this branch and be able to stock up on what I needed was really useful.

A diversion on the way home, to the Cotswold Water Park where we went to Cotswold Outdoors and I got a pair of Meindel trainers much reduced in their sale.

A cup of tea I tea room there overlooking one of the lakes and watching the ducks being 'ducky' very relaxing and nice.

1 Picked up my new glasses today, varifocals so a bit swimmy at first but they are great, yet to see if they darken down outside.
2 A look around C0stco, and dunelm and home bargains, and some bargains procured. 1.50 massive fluffy socks vastly reduced from the £6 I saw them at for Christmas, and a fluffy duvet for the caravan.
3 Animals pleased to see us home and going silly, they have wool laundry balls for new toys.
    4 Pizza slice for dinner
5 Back to doctors yesterday from getting a lot worse, started on large short dose of steroids, they always give me insomnia so planning to write my best seller.

    Hello. Bedtime. Been watching Cheat.

A day of much weather but managing to dodge showers and walk dog in the dry bits.

    Nipped to supermarket.

DD2 needing her mother's counsel this afternoon.

DN has just started doing direct selling of a product and could she just have a few people at my house? So that was tonight. Nice people and a few samples.

They took some baby stuff away! Hurrah! Can maybe get my spare room back again! It's been filled with all the extra stuff nephew had brought up last month...though there's still stuff under my bed, in the loft, in the garage! Sigh! It's a start at least!

Tesc0 have got 10 cream eggs for £2 ...they have vanished! All 10 of them. And it wasn't me!

frith Japanese encephalitis, a disease i didn't even know existed!
mhags we spent £10.82 on milk, veg and tins. i spotted the same offer on the way out and told mrpiano we could have bought 50 cream eggs and had 82 pence spare. 25 each. how can milk, veg and beans be more exciting than that?!
    1) working at home this morning, lovely weather, one load of washing done
    2) heard the brown bin lorry so managed to get my bin out, another talk with neighbour who hadn't talked to me for maybe 10 years till yesterday
    3) small procedure at nurse's - slightly trickier than expected but all done now with only one 'ouch' - apparently i can look forward to a good bruise!
    4) first lent course week - we're reading 'the long road to heaven' based on the film 'the way' which i haven't seen - anyone walked any of the Camino?
    5) then home to a hot cross bun. bit early i know but pack of 4 ys, seemed a shame not to!

    Not a bad day!

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Took bigger son to work at Go Ape.

    3) Went to small town and printed out his letters in the library, asking educational charities locally for money.

    6) Managed to get smaller son to school for his afternoon session...

    7) Bigger son made Singapore noodles for tea.

    8) Looking forward to seeing MrA tomorrow :-)

    9) Brother came round for board games and brought us some muntjak that he had butchered earlier today.
