2 We went for a long walk after, as we were feeling fat.
    3 Animals welcomed us home.
4 Watching the animals enjoying bouncing around the garden.

    Pleasures for today (Wednesday).

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Hens well. Sat on the allotment with them pondering for half an hour or so.

    3) Could not make smaller son go to school so went for a walk in the forest with my sister and niece for a while.

    4) Finally managed to get smaller son into the car and to school - where he ran away. Found his specialist teacher and looked more of a fool than normal when I admitted playing the piano really loudly had encouraged him into the car... He DID go into the autism centre eventually and did masses of coursework.

    5) Went to the museum for some volunteering.

    6) Collected bigger son and MrN's son5 from the London train. Bigger son enjoyed the VSO interviews and will hear on Friday! 10 days after that (if he is successful) he will hear where he is going.

    7) Dropped bigger son off at my brother in law's for games night and continued driving MrN's son5 home. He suddenly piped up that he hoped my date had gone well and that bigger son had been talking for ages about it on the train and that he (bigger son) thought it was marvellous and that it would make me happy. Well, who knows ultimately but today I feel all strange and very vulnerable.

    Good Morning,

The lurgy lingers on.....sympathies to other sufferers :(

Plum I saw Eddie at the cinema. We enjoyed it too.

    1. DS2 getting through more stages of recruitment process.

    2. Catching up with admin.

    3. Sold 4 things on EBay and posted 3.

    4. Waiting for my new bank card, I have had to use cash......the novelty! :rotfl:

    5. All is True at the cinema last night. Beautiful. Funny. Sad.

    6. Made sensory valentines cards with my primary class, as many of them are autistic. The heart was made from a plastic sandwich bag filled with some hair gel, glitter and a foam heart. They really enjoyed it. I am a bit worried that they would not make it home.......hair gel all over the mini bus.

    Have a lovely day :)

    For past couple of days.

    1. Work still reasonabke. I've somehow managed to avoid the worst people so far. Managed of department is being better recently. Not sure why perhaps she has realised that I can't cope with much more.

    2. Lovely sunrise yesterday.

    3. Text conversation with my sister. Trying to arrange a meet up with her to celebrate her birthday.

    4. No arguments or disagreement between sins. Long may it last.

    5. Pictures of Friends baby. She had gone through so much to have him that seeing them both happy is fantastic.

    Wednesday pleasures,

A bright, sunny and relatively warm day.

Another day of tidying, Mount Ironmore scaled and then sorted through old work clothes and bagged a number up ready for re-homing.

Fun in the sun with my equine girlie, this time in-hand work with poles, obstacles etc to get her horsey brain working.

Rare evening at home by myself as Capt S headed up to the capital for the football. Little dog would not settle and spent most of the evening staring at the door willing for him to come home :o

Tea was leftover chilli in my PJ’s watching a re-run of Lewis, reminded me of my singe days!
  • DD I wills takes a bags eyes later!

V So this morn the blue lighted ambulance was rushing through the lights on the way to the mill. Juan in the car of Germanic origin was on the inside, Bop in his pedal cart was on the outside! Guess who got blocked! Don’t mess with BoP! He still has not got it that he uses the right fork and the give way, I take the left and the lights as well. Nine out of ten mornings I beat him! There, yous no has to rush.

4 Has yous fixed, because as explained by BoP last day, I note that the rip off companies are racking up the prices by 10% to match the glass ceiling that they can get away with! And checkout these LEDs bulbs, as BoP bill decreased by around £80 for the wobbleade kitty! Usual BoP rules, my pocket not their greasy mitts!

3 I just red about the lass from Dundee. I fear that the wall in the gents is doomed. A sanctuary is on the weigh out!

2 Nite BoP is inn the gym keeping his looks so beach ready!

    No need for one again!

Watch out for the glass ceiling!
  • 1 Up a little late.
2 I did out the dreadful kitchen corner unit, we have one of those old swing round things where things fall off into a food black hole. Everything out to find treacle tin had leaked so clean up of all tins, date checking sorting. Everything back in, including 2 tinned up fruit cakes from the kitchen side.
3 Fish and stuffed potato skins was dinner.
4 Made bird food from the out of date peanut butter, seeds and suet.
5 Various washing loads done and used the dryer, as I'm a bit sick of the house looking even more cluttered with damp stuff everywhere.

What a difference a day makes! Much better today , still rubbish chesty cough and burning lungs but bags more energy. I've not had to recline once all day!

    Garden chaps here.

Have hoovered upstairs and downstairs. Washed floors. Cleaned bathrooms. It may have taken me most of the day but it's done and I'm happier that it's done.

A couple of little doggy walks and a bigger one this afternoon ...had to remind myself that I needed to walk back the same distance!

Made a very nice tea. Added a fajita spice mix to mince and veg and layered it on tortilla chips and covered with cheese and melted in oven. Very yummy. Inspired! ( couldn't be bothered going to T for gravy granules for mince and tatties! )

DD2 got a dozen roses for her Valentine's Day and I've just peeked at her card and it's very sweet! He's a nice lad.

It felt almost springlike today. I had the windows open this morning . Birds being busy in the hedgerows. And light till gone 5.45 pm tonight. Hurrah!
  • Hi, didn't post last night but yesterday was a sort of dull insignificant day. Best thing was half a can of Rogan Josh and rice for dinner. I had organised the storecupboard ( renamed the Brexit cupboard) and found several cans near BBE dates so quick dinner with no cooking.

    My five for today are;

    1) Early phone call to HMRC to sort out tax codes. I was lucky enough to have a very pleasant and helpful call handler.

    2) Slow start then speeded up and got lots of housework done.

    3) Short visit to knitting group as my friend needed my company when having goods delivered by someone from Facebook. Seller was genuine and my friend very pleased with her purchase.

    4) Lots of online research done as Mum has asked me to arrange her Power of Attorney with me having the power. A bit of a shock really as she's never been interested before. I think she's feeling her age now.

    5) I've just started knitting another lacy baby matinee set in raspberry coloured wool for my ddil to give to her friend

House elf I was a bit disappointed at the end of Edie. I wanted to know more - how she would be after her adventure. I think they should make Edie 2

Dundee DollMum always has Tunnocks tea cakes in for me. When I visited her when the children were small I could never afford chocolate biscuits and we all loved Tunnocks tea cakes so she always bought them for us. Fast forward 25 years and I still enjoy my teacake when I visit her.

    Goodnight all xx

    A strange day.

    Pleasures for Thursday

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Cleaned the hens' sleeping quarters out. Left 7 eggs with the allotment owner.

    3) Bigger son did a full day of training at Go Ape.

    4) Went round the charity shops and got 2 t shirts, a jumper and a jumper for bigger son.

    5) Had lunch with my brother - chip sandwiches.

    6) Fajitas for tea.

    7) Babysat my niece.

    8) My mum's cataract operation went OK.

    9) Bigger son has a place on the VSO!!!

No idea what is going on with MrS. A few days ago I did something and he said he wished I had included him. So tonight I got together those last few dregs of my self esteem and asked if we could meet later - too tired. We messaged about other stuff until I eventually asked if he wanted to see me again (as in - ever). He read it, no reply, and must be asleep now.
