& 'Putah is working agin!
V Rite mood yesterday when the radio thing had the scooooomts on. Glad they are out and the mariners still in. #UTM.
4 Raffles is well after his annual visit to the veterinary and his jabs. Back on his food. Last nite it was raining and so he managed a cat shower on BoPsie! BoPsie also mentioned this morning that when BoP feeds him, he wolfs his food down. That is because I talk to him about his food and what it is. This morning he had goat and toad. Other varieties are available.
3 Moaned yesterday about something new in BoPs packed lunch box this weak. Normal cucumber and toms, egg custard with salmon and leek. Orange jelly, with berries, strawbs and pineapple. Fresh pineapple chunked. Nows is yous use fresh pineapple, be careful with your knife and make sure you get all the pips out. To do that, put in the tappershare box with some water and hey BoPso! they come out. Proper foods and good for you!
2 Nite BoP is inn the gym, getting in trim for the San Francisco trip coming up. Don’t forgets this weak another BoP tour. Eyes peeled. Tea party!
Having one today! Chaos on the road as some twig had fallen off a tree!
Now that is all the BoP views today!0 -
1 some free time, read some and watched some tv
2 got yesterdays bedding dry in the outside and put away
3 repotted a plant that was looking tired
4 made the bed early today
5 made treats with melted chocolate0 -
Ampersand - we’re happy with the basic Settlers here but brother in law has the island expansion pack. Also enjoy “Newmarket”, presuming it’s still in production.0

1) As we were driving under a lowering very black sky we turned a corner and in front of towards the river was the brightest double rainbow I've seen in an age, it was so bright and beautiful.
2) We found an artificial tree at a price I was prepared to pay, I'm staggered at prices which were all up at £60 upwards for all sorts of finishes on what is after all only metal and plastic with different bits on and we found a nice plain fairly realistic 6' tree in B & Q for £25 that will last us for years, so much better!
3) Collected our St Nicholas Day present from DD1.
4) Ruby terrier called this morning with her mum and gave me a lovely poinsettia plant in a red pot to match the lounge colours and a Christmas card.
5) Have stewed steak in the slow cooker for supper, has been simmering away since 9ish this morning and the kitchen smells delicious.0 -
1 Our local panto has released cut price early tickets, so I’ve booked us 2 tickets for next week we thought we could catch the show and then get a Chinese meal. We were hoping to see Reiner Hersh but with the travel costs to London and food with the show up there we think the budget may be blown to far, so we will be supporting local instead, or maybe we are just getting old ah well..
2 Rosehip jelly all made and jarred up.
3 Relaxed reading on the sofa as the flu jab had side effects this time while nowhere near as bad as the flu I’ve never had side effects before, so painting lies ahead tomorrow.
4 Homemade curry with turmeric rice was dinner, wow that made our noses run!

1. Came back and decorator has made good progress on hall/stairs which look so fresh and clean.
2. Managed to be 'good' with food today - autumn quinoa salad with almond turmuric dressing for lunch...lush.
3. Felt productive at work today. Shame I worked 7.30-6 and am logging on again to rework a document messed up by others!!
4. When I came home, realised DH had done laundry, cleaned kitchen and prepped the bedroom for the decorator
5. ...which allowed me time to pre-prep meals for the week. DH is living in a hotel Mon-Fri at the moment, and DD gets a hot meal at school, so I'm pretty much cooking for one. Made chilli garlic tofu, spinach and black bean spaghetti for lunches and smoky kidney bean and lentil soup for suppers.0 -
Hello. Bedtime. I had such a rubbish sleep last night (most nights really) but awake from 4am. However I sorted out my travel insurance and emailed the hotel though they haven't replied yet.
Beautiful morning. All frosty...until I got up to yhe filed and there it was just muddy, lovely walk with my doggy.
Then had to go to work. Met two friends as I went in which was about the nicest part of the shift. Had a mini meltdown. I felt so anxious. It was horrid. I really don't know if it's the place for me .
Anyway was on with a lovely person. It passed and I finished. Drive home was okay. Kind of worked out the best way to drive home which is different from the way there. Saves a few sets of traffic lights.
Had started kind of packing this morning...ie chucking wooly jumpers in the direction of the case!
Friend sent me a text to say she wouldn't make it round and I was kind of relieved!
Took Haggis a walk round our wee estate again when I got home. Boy child had been told by his sister ( who'd been asked to do it!) to put lasagne on. Can you put some veg on please were my parting words as I went out with dog. So peas and broccoli too.
Ate tea. Messaged DD1 in Hawaii. Told her my flights to NYC have been upgraded to business class! I bid the minimum bid to upgrade and won! Hurrah!
Soaps on telly with a big dog on my knee.
Two shifts to go! I can do it!0 -

2) cadged a ride in colleagues' taxi up to ninewells campus
3) mrpiano picked me up from work and we went to mrt. hit it just right with ys - 2 organic chickens for less than 1/2 the price of one
4) one fudge doughnut left - had my name on it :P
5) polished my work shoes. very satisfying knowing exactly where the shoe polish and brush are, and being able to get to them without fighting my way through a narnia of a cupboardMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

My five for today are;
1) I exercised to Rosemary Connelly dvd this morning. First time I've done it since catching the cold nearly 3 weeks ago. Just got out of the habit so determined to get back into the habit - hopefully 3 times a week.
2) Went into the nearby town and bought dollars for holiday and also Christmas postage stamps. I've written my cards and will post them on Friday.
3) Had toasties with cheese and wafer thin smoked ham. Delicious - one of my favourites.
4) Finished Christmas decorations this afternoon - house looking very festive now.
5) Just going to bed now as I'm reading an exciting book by David Baldacci.

1. Well actually one kind of is, just not very MSE. I went to a Gatsby themed ball. Was fab, I had a flapper frock.
2. Stayed in a posh hotel. Tho we didn't pay which is cool
3. Then on to a family wedding. We weren't expecting to enjoy it as much as we did. It was fab and caught up with some family we only usually see at funerals
4. Another posh hotel, tho we had to pay for this one
5. Then to London for an all you can eat vegetarian Indian buffet
6. Then went to the recording of a TV show with my brother last night

2. Got some groceries in.
3. Laundry got hung outside
4. OH cooked tea when he got in
5. Went with DD to the doctors. He has ordered some thyroid test. I think it is going to take a while to get her diagnosed with something but it's started.
