  • DD Seems that the hatters cannot keep a clean sheet, unlike the mighty mariners! Though as me old man would say, you can score too many too often! So inn the challenge tin pot competition, we are away to the crooked spirites. That’s Chestfield to you lot and I am glad to get that off my chest.

V Again back at the mill with another packed lunch box, and extra fox biscuits today. BoPsie had the chance to take a packet, but she refused, so all the more for BoP. Tum is being rubbed as I jot down my daily dollop.

4 And the packed lunch box as well. More goodness than you could shake a celery stick at!

3 Last night the tikka of chicken was very nice, never had it matured for three days before, so will do so again and again. Keep eyes on boP dollops for more recipes. It was served will chili fridgiebits and sticky rice!

2 Night BoP will not be in his pjs as it it a touch warmer!

Having one today. At the mill BoP is aka Sinatra. We hold meeting very quick, discuss how we can correct the world’s wrongs and then agree to do it My Way!

After that, you can get your woolly hat on!
  • 1. Coffee with my friends

    2. Shopping with my boyfriend

    3. Watching favourite TV show

    4. Booking a trip

    5. Reading book
  • My five for today are;

    1) Still have a cough but definitely on the mend today.

    2) I've had a lovely day at home sewing - partially made the last two Christmas stockings but ran out of the cuff fabric so going to Glasgow tomorrow to buy some more.

    3) Finished the Hot Chilli Bean soup for lunch and also had fruit salad made from tinned fruit ( again out of date tins from cupboard) and apples.

    4) More out of date tins provided dinner - corned beef and baked beans mixed together and tinned potatoes cooked in the actifry. Really tasty.

    5) After a very damp morning it dried up and became windy in the afternoon so hung out sheets and pillowcases this afternoon. I'm just going out to bring them in now.

Going to watch a film on Netflix and do some knitting tonight xx

    Bedtime.

    Reading a good book.

Plasterer came ...he's not exactly punctual. Will have to come back on Friday. Sigh.

It's DD1 birthday. Finally got a quick chat in amongst her out for dinner then friends back for drinks.

Went to mothers. More tidied but there is just so much stuff that even though much was cleared it doesn't look it. But it was done! More of same tomorrow.

Didn't need much for tea. Had a sandwich. Made son a cheese omelette.

Just sat and read ( and snoozed in an upright , reading position!) for a good while which was a pleasant change.

It's been dry all day though blooming chilly. Washing had a good blow on the line.

Enjoyed doing my jobs in Town. Successful list checking.

Made fish pie for the family.

Stove on last night as very cold. For the first time last night the stove had a welcome cosy warmth rather than I'm too hot. We've worked out what outdoor temp requires the stove to be lit.

Cleaned the fridge freezer, using up and having it more useful.

Advising my sister on natural remedies to fight a cold.

  • V Back down to the mill this day planning trip up norff next weak on the train. That will be bigger than the big train to Warster. Lunch will be served as well!

4 Now with the days ‘appnings. BuckFarce is warning me of impending failure of my phone thing if I remain connected to wigwamsta dot con as some miracle video will rip my data pack up in fifty one thousands of a millisecond! Fortunately I blocked said abuser! Just pondered how many pass on carp and bull shine!

3 Had to top ups me packed lunch box today. BoPsie was not being very liberal with my raspberry jelly. Sore ted now. Now packed with red cheese, fox biscuits, egg custard tart with salmon, toms and cucumber. Cheese as well! Set off good and proper today with poached egg on hot buttered toast with marmite. And a proper chocolate as well. Delight of Turkish! Prepping now for Vets breakfast.

2 Minds me that Raffles Veterinary has written to him! Has his annual jabs to sort out. He will not be happy about his bat cage!

    Not having one today!

Now try it yourself, instead of taking my word for it!

  • 1 Had a wonderful birthday day yesterday spoiled rotten by oh.:T
2 Starting the day with a grilled bacon roll.
3 Then the animals helped me open lovely personalised gifts.:p
4 We used the meerkat deal to go to Disneys the nutcracker four realms and what a wonderful surprising film that was with the whole audience awwwwing. Really feel good, very reccommended.:) a great way to "non adult" a birthday.:)
5 We grabbed a bite to eat after.

    Today
1 Made a large turkey mince mixture turned part into spag bol tonight rest to be boxed up.
2 Not sure this is a pleasure also need to cook up a chicken into a large curry or lose it type thing so will be doing that in a mo and then freezing it.
3 I’ve cut out, painted, glittered and diamanted my own hand made Christmas decorations very therapeutic, incredibly slow.
4 Enjoying playing with the animals.
5 Forgot to mention the rather large C0stco birthday cake rather decadent and delicious, will have a slice with strawberries in mo.:o
