My seven for yesterday:
1. Really appreciated that extra hour in bed AND the lighter morning :j.
2. It was a beautiful sunshiney day, but very cold, so decided that 'the time had finally come' - and put the C/H on.
3. Sorted out the application for the 'Warmer Homes Discount'. Hopefully I'll be successful again - so keeping 'everthing crossed, that CAN be crossed'!
4. Church in the morning - only waited a couple of minutes for the bus, so no hanging around in the cold morning air at the bus stop for 20mins.
5. Lovely service with our new minister - Holy Communion - followed by Coffee and Natter with church friends afterwards :T. I'd been asked to do the Bible Reading.
6. As it was such a beautiful day, I decided on a 'Whoopsie Hunt Trip' to Mr T before going home. Got some delicious 'Finest Jumbo King Prawns' for me and some 'Bassa Fillets' for OH which we had for tea with Stirfry . Couple of other bargains as well, then coffee in Costa to round off the trip.
7. Back home to find the flat 'very cosy' -. I'd only gone and put the C/H onto 'Constant' instead of 'Timer' . Think I'm going to NEED that Warm Home Discount:rotfl:.

Please make sure you buy your poppy from the RBL. There are a lot of fakes on the media of social discontent!
V What can I say about the creamy cheese and chive mash topping on the cottage pie! Served with chunky carrots and leeks, with pan gravy! Tum was rubbed! Strawberries were also served up!
4 Now in BoPs lunch box this weak is a change. Out go the clubs and penguins! Instead we have proper chocolate digestive, with a fox biscuit today. Jelly, another change, this weak it is orange with mandarins! Pork pie, cheese, toms and cucumber! Now this is what proper foods does for you and I know having me bum checked out last weak! Got it? No I must nibble on my proper chocolate from Bourneville!
3 At mill it is password change day, we have gone to 1118 this time! With a few remarks like I put up t’other day! No did not mean I was against hatters, but I was on full flow!
2 Nite is another dollop of the cottage pie, this time served with cauliflower and pan gravy.
Having one today. DD it seems a shower on the hatters, but we are riding the storm out!
That has split them open …0 -
Morning / afternoon all - had a late start so it still feels like morning.
Congrats mrs LW
Pleasures for Saturday
1. Finally got rid of the filing cabinet that has been hanging around for many months :T Took it to the chazzer along with some books and DVDs and odds and s0ds of clothing
2. OH cooked a big brunch
3. Then he and DS went to the pictures (Johnny English - really not my cup of tea) and DD had gone to London so i set to and did a lot of work
4. An evening of telly with my knitting
5. DD came home early - not a pleasure for her cos she was frozen, but it meant i didn't have to go out late to pick her up from the station
And yesterday
1. Good sleep and an extra hour :T
2. Early drive to take DD to a bigger station to go back to comicon - she'd dressed warmer this time
3. Kundalini yoga and candlelit yoga. Kundalini in the morning - not sure this is really my thing so i don't think i'll go again. But it was different, if a bit 'out there' even for me, lots of chanting and meditation. i did come home strangely energised though. Candlelit was lovely, as always
4. leftover chick pea saag curry
5. Dr Who (Spiders ) and little drummer girl - that i don't think i really followed. Then had to pick DD up from Big Station at 11.45 so a late night.
Have a good day allI wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
1) The water meter has been fitted and the water is back on again.
2) The sun on my face through the bus window on the way into the city this morning.
3) Being able to find some Halloween pumpkin ceramic tea light holders and a couple of 'fold out' paper pumpkins to decorate the bedroom for my Zebra child (I got led. flickering tea lights to go in them).
4) Finding the book of How to Train your Dragon in a charity shop along with the DVD of Madagascar Christmas which he'll love.
5) Waiting in the newly opened new bus depot which has seats and glass doors between the busses and the waiting area, much warmer than the old one was.0 -

Well said, BoP - totally agree with you on that one :T.0 -
Evening all from the land of much chill!
A kind of pottering around kind of day though quiet productive and most things ticked off my list.
Washing out and almost dry. For all ist cold it's been bright and sunny with a wind.
One tidy hall cupboard! Ha! For how long? Doesn't seem that long since last tidied. Excess shoes and jackets upstairs. Hats and scarves folded and tidy.
Open shelving in kitchen all washed down , had got all dusty when extractor fan went in.
Halloween stuff mostly away. Made pumpkin soup . I've quite a few pumpkins and squashes so we shall be souping for a while!
Builder popped in. We are waiting on plasterer , lots needs replastered as its been done badly and I'm not happy!
Went to my mothers. Hoovered, tidied, sorted out a bank thing for her, pruned lots in the garden. I miss my garden! I miss my Melbourne garden( not the spiders ) at the moment I have a building site.
Popped into T and recycled all our party stuff ! Kind of went clink, clink! Got 2 bunches of RTC gladioli and 2 RTC cyclamen. They remind me of Melbourne.
Made a gammon joint and roast potatoes and roast pumpkin, cauli and broccoli (and 3 sprouts for me) for tea...and I've just remembered as I type that I popped a crumble in to warm! So shall have that shortly!
Candles on, blankets on shoulder and knee, dog to my side, snoring. Gritter went up the main road 1 hour ago. To be a cold one with rain forecast.
Amongst my cheapy charity shop haul the other day was a white damart gilet. Tis most cosy. Whites not normally my go to colour but it cost a pound and is puffy but very lightweight.
Mrs LW that's lovely news. Is the wedding imminent?
Have a good evening0 -
Next summer Mhags, they're in no hurry and just happy to have each other and have made the commitment.0

URGENT APPEAL ON BEHALF OF THE POPPY APPEAL.
Having typed the word "Poppy" into facebooks market place app. I am appalled by the amount of people that are being allowed to sell FAKE POPPY merchandise, some sellers stating that a percentage is going to the RBL, others giving nothing, some even stating that the money is going to a non military charity.
I urge you to spread the word to your families, friends, and friends of friends. Help us to stop these people from profiteering and stealing money away from the POPPY APPEAL, and to only purchase your merchandise via the POPPYSHOP.ORG.UK or a LOCAL POPPY APPEAL COLLECTION POINT for the next 2 weeks.0 -

Pleasures for today (Monday).
1) A lie in.
2) Hens OK despite the cold.
3) Bigger son worked at the mechanics then went to my brother's for lunch.
4) Smaller son and I went to Birmingham and did what he wanted - about 10 minutes in ThinkTank (too busy for him), some walking around then a look round the Apple shop.
