V No lunch box today. Bum test tomorrow. Five yearly. Usual rules, it will hurt them more than it hurts me! Got it?
4 Not happy starving. Clubs required. BoPsie will have to do her own tea tonight! Raffles is ok he has been fed again! Nows as mentioned here just this weak about proper foods being good for you, especially snorkers with leeks and creamy mash and pan onion gravy! Proper way to cook tatties and leeks, Got it? Bopsie blood tests are back and she is good to go for another year! So if you eat carp you end up with carp! As for the soup! I ask yous!
3 Has I mentioned if you work in retail to retrain? Another one goes down the swanny so next time you order from China, it is your customer you are putting out of work as well!
2 Day BoP is not happy!
Having a right one today and the juice tastes awful. Best they have the right x-ray tomorrow because last time they did not!
I am off to the …0 -
1) Trip to Cheltenham on the bus and finding all we needed very easily.
2) Much cooler here today and we've set the central heating to come on for an hour or so as we get up, blissful warm bathroom today!
3) The man on the allotment next to ours giave HWK some deep red apples from the last few on his tree, I'll make us a crumble for supper.
4) Spent yesterday with DD1 and James helping sort out the lovely new shed they've just invested in, Oh the smell of wood is gorgeous.
5) Little Oreo is better from his virus now and able to go back in to nursery so I haven't had to go down to look after him. I'm sad I didn't get to spend time with him but happy that he got better and didn't need me!0 -
Just finished watching The Cry. Goodness, not what i expected at all.
And reading Marie Kondo. All set for Saturday (though have done a little bit of decluttering en route) One book i will be keeping is How I lived on a Pound a Day by Kathy Kelly. not that i am going to follow suit, but an interesting read
1) slight disaster at work as forgot to take in laptop (we've moved to dockable laptops so that meant no puter) - spent afternoon with a book, paper and pen. got quite a bit done
2) did 30 minutes coreball. Swear i had a specially wobbly ball!
3) then hm rice and haddock thing. yum
4) went to Dow lecture. After which there was wine. i had a glass then got a lift home from my neighbour
5) rest of hm rice and haddock thing (still yum).MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

My five for today are;
1) Slept really well in my own bed last night and woke up early.
2) Had a dark load of washing out on the line by 8.30am. It's all dry and waiting to be ironed tomorrow.
3) Went and did a big food shop. Aldi, then Tesco and also put petrol in the car. Because I have nothing better to doI've sat and compared prices of goods bought in Aldi with comparable goods from Tesco. Aldi shop cost £42.41 and the same basket would be £7.20 more from Tesco. Not 100% accurate as some things that I could not find similar items for, have not been added into the equation.
4) I went out with my bestest friend for lunch as I got a free meal from Brewyers Fayre for my birthday earlier.
5) I batch cooked two lots of mince. One has made 2 portions of bolognese sauce and a tray of lasagne. The other has made 3 portions of mince with carrots, swede and butter beans and a tray of Crofters pie. This is a bit like shepherds pie but the base mince is mixed with haggis and the potato topping is mixed with swede and cheese. These will all go into the freezer for ready meals.
A day at home tomorrow xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Pleasures for today (Thursday).
1) Not a bad sleep and nodded off again for an hour after smaller son left for school.
2) Hens OK and I cleaned their sleeping quarters out. Also took them a pan of warm porridge. They've never eaten anything warm before!
3) My sister and niece came and I found sons' Lego and niece got quite into playing with that.
4) After MUCH deliberation, put my piano up for sale. We really can't move in the living room (only 2 up, 2 down house) and we could have a move round of the furniture if that went.
5) Tumble drying mending man appeared, which was a pleasure. Not a pleasure later to switch it on and find it STILL doesn't get hot! I had to wait a fortnight for him but will phone again tomorrow.
6) Smaller son and I popped to Sainsburys.
7) Watched GBBO: An Extra Slice then First Dates with bigger son.
Looking forward to half term holidays now.0 -

wow! that sounds delicious, plumduff . Although I can easily get Haggis 'south of the border' unfortunately, I can't find any 'Gluten Free' (which Morrisons stock in Scotland) - so will have to resort to going 'online' for it.

1, More files cleared through, very cathartic.
2, The extra sausages from yesterdays sarnie was todays lunch.
3, Moving things off my dying laptop to a tiny diddy storage thing, glad to do it and I will get in the habit of just storing all things there. I’m going to treat us to an upgrade to our current laptops for Christmas, both of which we are just hoping will “cling on” until then.
4, Leftover C0stco pizza for dinner.
5, We popped to Mr T for chicken wings for the animals, and ended up with some great reductions, 3 lots of chicken, 3 lots of mince all portioned up to the freezer, a lot of veg for us and fruit for the dehydrator, we spent a bit more than planned on branded stuff but had a 6 pounds off voucher.0 -
Thursday’s pleasures
Another bright sunny day but definitely a bit cooler
DH & I finished pruning the olive tree :T we were very severe  DSis did most of the shredding.
Filled an empty Quality Street tin with olives :T Tomorrow will be the start of curing ‘our’ olives :rotfl:
Nice walk to sm past the dock - the swan definitely has a mate now :T Fed the Canada geese, swans & mallards - only 38 bits of litter to pick up
Sm was busy - not a pleasure but the pleasure is knowing that I can change the timing of my next sm visit
Snorkers, mash, fried onions, mixed veg & gravy for dinner - soooo scrumptious
